There is a point in the story like that. But it is not a deadlock, it is possible to get an event that allows continuing. Game tries to give hints on what to do next.
Continue with the girls that do have an event you can start, eventually you get to a point where you can continue with Android, Autumn and Lin.

Keep it up it's hard to find a game like this with a great story eager to see how things will play out not gonna spoil anything but it gets better and better I've replayed several times

every harem game is the same in concept, the player is exposed to emotional or psychological damage, repeatedly, but is incentivized to keep engaging with it in hopes of it paying off later with good scenes and a story. this game is no different.
i had a fun time with the game, outside of some events that happen because they hit too close to home so to speak. that is, until i encountered one specific part of the game, after which i played for a short while more and then stopped playing it because the game's developer demonstrated clearly enough what he thinks of anyone with specific beliefs who recognizes that despite having beliefs of their own, there are times when setting those beliefs aside has more value because something superordinate else is at risk.
fighting the power, so to speak, is what makes an rpg's story compelling, though it depends on what lenghts the developers go to, to establish said power. but this isnt an rpg, this is a harem game, and the “power” can be condensed down to the balding, fat, unkempt man shouting

the player engages in rebuilding a nationalism movement for elves, trying to convince all sides that elves have learned from their past mistakes and that their race should be preserved, that their culture, beliefs and the like are worth preserving. its curious then, that the very similar real-life movement that is about nationalism resurgence, persevering of a race's culture and restoring its own belief in itself, is inverted in this game. from maga to msga.
this is the only time when i will offer you, the developer, what you havent offered me, the anonymous player of your work. a nuanced approach. i would appeal you to rethink the mockery you added to the game which is otherwise fine, but, chances are you really like what you've done there.
Harem Hotel speaks about a lot of political issues. Slavery and freedom from it is a big theme after all. Kali's Dad is a mayor, Autumn's dad is a Minister, Lin is a slave, you as the player are an immigrant, and someone else's father is planning to run for the President of Syl'anar. (spoilers though, won't say who, but he's also an immigrant)
Honestly I think it would be quite hard to goon to this game considering how story dense it is. That's one long edge sesh.

1. You called someone whose only character is to support slavery, be a bigot, and someone for everyone to laugh at, as being the only person who recognizes nuance. You're basically watching Herbet from Family Guy and saying "Well he's the only person with a nuanced perspective on pedophilia." No, these are bad people with bad beliefs used for comic relief. If you truly relate to the ideals of the characters I've written to be horrible people, you may need to do some reflection. Just my opinion though.
The "Caucasians" (specifically the colonists, who were not all white by the way) of this game took direct inspiration from the colonists of america, australia, and south africa. Colonists in HH are acting like colonists in the real world. They are not "Acting like muslims or africans"
2. The protagonists are not supporting a nationalist party of elves. The nationalist movement of elves would be the High Elves, who hold the same beliefs of these colonists, but for elves. Elvish superiority over human superiority. The thing is, they're also your enemy. They're also the bad guys. They would enslave humans if they could. Nia even started with some idea that humans are lesser beings because of what they did to her, but after getting to know you, she adopts Lin's ideals of equality and equity over ultra-nationalism. Lin doesn't even believe borders should exist. So how you got to the conclusion that the player and the harem are supporting an elvish nationalist movement really boggles my mind. There are no "past mistakes of the elves." They didn't do much except defend themselves from invaders (colonists). But look, if you're just a patriot, and you enjoy your community and its people, that's awesome! That's not nationalism though.
Elves are also not a race of humanity. You can think of them sort of as we see homo-erectus or neanderthals. Elves would be homo-sylius. A separate but equal genome of the homo genus with enough differences to be considered separate species. Humans (not just "caucasians") are doing the same to elves as humans did to neanderthals. Kill, rape, merge. (This isn't shown in game, but is implied to have happened)

World history and geopolitics are massive interests of mine and it shows in game. The idea of a "nation" only took prominent hold in our world because of Germany in WW1 (A precursor being Napleon's French Empire.) Nationalism is a very new ideology and one I critique a lot, but specifically ultra-nationalism. In short they promoted the idea that specific people belong to their nation over the idea of a community of people working together, and that the people who do not belong to the nation should leave so that there are more opportunities for the nation's people. In Harem Hotel, this means working elves until they're dead and extinct, even though it was their land to begin with.

I need some help downloading the game, I go as far as clicking the + on joiplay and getting to the picture, I've tried 10 times, 9 times joiplay crashed, and the one time it didn't absolutely nothing popped up on the joiplay plugin, or on my phone, joiplay closed and took me back to RAR with me still unable to play the game , what am I doing wrong?
Hard to say. I have not used v0.19 yet since it is not published. It is a beta version now, so may have game breaking bugs that prevent some events from happening.
Anyway, if you have access to unreleased beta versions, you can access beta channel on Discord where you can ask about beta version issues and bugs.

I'm not Runey, but I can suggest Mythic Manor, Dark Magic and Lucky's Paradox. All are HS based 3DCG VNs, with good scenes and story (not as good as HH ofc, but they come close).
I have played Mythic Manor mobile edition once, but I had to delete it due to it taking too much space, fast forward 2-1/2 years and I got myself a good pc. Yet, I am unable to download it directly from the Itch.io for some reason, but on the Itch.io web I can, though I haven't installed it thus far. As for the other games you mentioned, I gave Lucky Paradox a try (I uninstalled it, although I forgot the reason why ), but I have not played Dark Magic. I suggest you to look for custom ports of MM. The version I have installed is about 3GB.

I was really surprised by this game. Dev is only at v 0.19 and there's already so much enjoyable content. Often when you see game this big in scope, they have issues with feature creep, but here all the different elements work and are fun. Aside from some continuity issues and some small bugs, this game is definitely worth paying for, even at this early stage. This is one of my top H games ever. And the dev isn't even done yet!

The beta version does have cheat codes. You get to know them by subscribing on Patreon to the game and paying the monthly fee. Those codes should not be revealed here or anywhere else, they are only for subscribers.

1) Writing is amazing. In fact, it's so great, that I just want to read the dialogues and sex scenes are not the main focus for me at times. All the characters so different and well written, even the side ones. And the world itself is super interesting.
2) Amount of CGs is great. Attention to details too. I love city ones! Last time I played a couple of years ago, there was no city or garden.
3) Doesn't need much grinding.
If I had to mention something I don't like.
I guess all my problems are a matter of personal preference, not a real criticism.
1) Vending machine in the lobby is useless. Or maybe I don't know what it does.
2) Ashley. If I had to choose, I'd say that she is my least favourite character in the main cast. At times I straight up hate her and avoid dealing with her. I know it's intentional, but her obsession with main character is creepy and he doesn't care?? She straight up rapes him and he's like: "Okay, cool." She constantly mentions that she wants to have kids right now.
Main character is a good guy, but from how I see it, he uses sex to manipulate emotionally vulnerable girls. Maybe it's intentional, maybe not. It's especially noticeable in case of Ashley. She's super unstable and I know that he knows it.
But he still rewards her actions. That time she pulled a knife on Maria and both her and MC simply let it slide?? Maybe it's resolved in the future, maybe it's already resolved. Don't stick your dick in crazy tho!
3) Inconsistencies in the story. I don't know what triggers the Emma's & Felicity's arrival to the hotel but in Ashley's story at the college, characters act like they don't know each other, despite them already living in the hotel.
Which is weird because they got expulsed or suspended and had to move hotel AFTER their arrival.
Anyway, can't think of anything else.
Everything is pretty much is perfect other than that.

Well, somewhat at least. Harem Hotel is findable on itch.io search, and appears on the Top Rated and other collections. It seems to me paying for Harem Hotel is not possible (yet). Game can be bought from other platforms like Patreon or Subscribestar.
I have been playing this game for a LONG ass time, but never felt the need of making an account or talking so I must say, first of all, hope all this censorship situation gets solved as best as possible and hope you keep making this amazing story that every update gets me more and more hooked.
Now on to the small report, I don't know if this is supposed to happen but, after reaching the end of Felicity and Emma in this update, Felicity gets kinda locked. Like, I can still play with her at her room and call her for the activities with Ash. But the option of sleeping with her (or her and Emma) dissapeared. Is this normal or is a bug?
It is normal. It is intentional, the 0.18 version was published a bit incomplete, the events where Felicity appears were not rewritten or replaced, probably for lack of time to do the work.
When I played that part the game explained the situation, did you skip reading it or did the explanation fail to appear in your play?
My understanding is this story breaking situation solves itself in version 0.19.
I just wasn't sure because Lin ends up in a similar spot in this version, so when you finish her arc the game tells you that "you'll come back as if this didn't happen so you can keep interacting with her" (same as with Felicity). But her sleep with options and alarm options are still appearing. So I wondered why Felicity is kinda "shadowbanned" from the bed options now
Hopefully, this shadow ban gets lifted for you guys. Unfortunately, I think it will stick around in Australia for a long ass while (unlucky me). Fun fact, a fair few religious people are also signing the petition, they state "Free agency is a sacred thing; people can choose to sin if they want, so long as it doesn't harm others. To take that away from them is abhorrent and vile."

1. You called someone whose only character is to support slavery, be a bigot, and someone for everyone to laugh at, as being the only person who recognizes nuance. You're basically watching Herbet from Family Guy and saying "Well he's the only person with a nuanced perspective on pedophilia." No, these are bad people with bad beliefs used for comic relief. If you truly relate to the ideals of the characters I've written to be horrible people, you may need to do some reflection. Just my opinion though.
The "Caucasians" (specifically the colonists, who were not all white by the way) of this game took direct inspiration from the colonists of america, australia, and south africa. Colonists in HH are acting like colonists in the real world. They are not "Acting like muslims or africans"
2. The protagonists are not supporting a nationalist party of elves. The nationalist movement of elves would be the High Elves, who hold the same beliefs of these colonists, but for elves. Elvish superiority over human superiority. The thing is, they're also your enemy. They're also the bad guys. They would enslave humans if they could. Nia even started with some idea that humans are lesser beings because of what they did to her, but after getting to know you, she adopts Lin's ideals of equality and equity over ultra-nationalism. Lin doesn't even believe borders should exist. So how you got to the conclusion that the player and the harem are supporting an elvish nationalist movement really boggles my mind. There are no "past mistakes of the elves." They didn't do much except defend themselves from invaders (colonists). But look, if you're just a patriot, and you enjoy your community and its people, that's awesome! That's not nationalism though.
Elves are also not a race of humanity. You can think of them sort of as we see homo-erectus or neanderthals. Elves would be homo-sylius. A separate but equal genome of the homo genus with enough differences to be considered separate species. Humans (not just "caucasians") are doing the same to elves as humans did to neanderthals. Kill, rape, merge. (This isn't shown in game, but is implied to have happened)
I am not breaking the 4th wall by criticizing ultra-nationalism, that's not what that means, by definition. You've essentially stated that because Bob's Burgers has burgers in it, it broke the 4th wall. Both things can exist in fiction and reality. The purpose of the criticism of ultra-nationalism is to make you think and possibly offer you a different perspective.
World history and geopolitics are massive interests of mine and it shows in game. The idea of a "nation" only took prominent hold in our world because of Germany in WW1 (A precursor being Napleon's French Empire.) Nationalism is a very new ideology and one I critique a lot, but specifically ultra-nationalism. In short they promoted the idea that specific people belong to their nation over the idea of a community of people working together, and that the people who do not belong to the nation should leave so that there are more opportunities for the nation's people. In Harem Hotel, this means working elves until they're dead and extinct, even though it was their land to begin with.
(I'm leaving a lot of nuance out in these comments for the sake of simplicity and time)

Not to mention the protag gets screwed when you get down to what his faction actually wants. They want the elves to have everything and for the human immigrants/colonizers to be gone. If this happens your protag also is affected. He would loose the Hotel as well as his spot on said island when things are said and done. Something your side of the aisle never seems to think about. The whole slavery thing is bad and I disagree with it that would be my republican side coming out(Also fun fact it was republicans who ended slavery dems wanted to keep it).However pulling a socialist move and saying you own nothing were going to give it to the elves solves nothing. Your protags faction seems to be leaning the socialist route of having the goverment come in and solve the problem(This never works no one is happy and the goverment is the only one who wins) My response to the whole thing would have been a funny nod to my favorite Warhammer faction but not feeling it now. Also no nekos,no dog or wolf girls ultimately not my thing also why on earth would anyone discuss politics on this site? We go to x or somewhere else for that I go here to escape that shit. Hard to say. I have not used v0.19 yet since it is not published. It is a beta version now, so may have game breaking bugs that prevent some events from happening.
Anyway, if you have access to unreleased beta versions, you can access beta channel on Discord where you can ask about beta version issues and bugs.

I'm not Runey, but I can suggest Mythic Manor, Dark Magic and Lucky's Paradox. All are HS based 3DCG VNs, with good scenes and story (not as good as HH ofc, but they come close).
I have played Mythic Manor mobile edition once, but I had to delete it due to it taking too much space, fast forward 2-1/2 years and I got myself a good pc. Yet, I am unable to download it directly from the Itch.io for some reason, but on the Itch.io web I can, though I haven't installed it thus far. As for the other games you mentioned, I gave Lucky Paradox a try (I uninstalled it, although I forgot the reason why ), but I have not played Dark Magic. I suggest you to look for custom ports of MM. The version I have installed is about 3GB.
There are also non-3D, fairly popular (and a common pick in suggestion comments), but still good games.

I was really surprised by this game. Dev is only at v 0.19 and there's already so much enjoyable content. Often when you see game this big in scope, they have issues with feature creep, but here all the different elements work and are fun. Aside from some continuity issues and some small bugs, this game is definitely worth paying for, even at this early stage. This is one of my top H games ever. And the dev isn't even done yet!

Oh, I can share what I like and what I don't.
1) Writing is amazing. In fact, it's so great, that I just want to read the dialogues and sex scenes are not the main focus for me at times. All the characters so different and well written, even the side ones. And the world itself is super interesting.
2) Amount of CGs is great. Attention to details too. I love city ones! Last time I played a couple of years ago, there was no city or garden.
3) Doesn't need much grinding.
If I had to mention something I don't like.
I guess all my problems are a matter of personal preference, not a real criticism.
1) Vending machine in the lobby is useless. Or maybe I don't know what it does.
2) Ashley. If I had to choose, I'd say that she is my least favourite character in the main cast. At times I straight up hate her and avoid dealing with her. I know it's intentional, but her obsession with main character is creepy and he doesn't care?? She straight up rapes him and he's like: "Okay, cool." She constantly mentions that she wants to have kids right now.
Main character is a good guy, but from how I see it, he uses sex to manipulate emotionally vulnerable girls. Maybe it's intentional, maybe not. It's especially noticeable in case of Ashley. She's super unstable and I know that he knows it.
But he still rewards her actions. That time she pulled a knife on Maria and both her and MC simply let it slide?? Maybe it's resolved in the future, maybe it's already resolved. Don't stick your dick in crazy tho!
3) Inconsistencies in the story. I don't know what triggers the Emma's & Felicity's arrival to the hotel but in Ashley's story at the college, characters act like they don't know each other, despite them already living in the hotel.
Which is weird because they got expulsed or suspended and had to move hotel AFTER their arrival.
Anyway, can't think of anything else.
Everything is pretty much is perfect other than that.

I have been playing this game for a LONG ass time, but never felt the need of making an account or talking so I must say, first of all, hope all this censorship situation gets solved as best as possible and hope you keep making this amazing story that every update gets me more and more hooked.
Now on to the small report, I don't know if this is supposed to happen but, after reaching the end of Felicity and Emma in this update, Felicity gets kinda locked. Like, I can still play with her at her room and call her for the activities with Ash. But the option of sleeping with her (or her and Emma) dissapeared. Is this normal or is a bug?
It is normal. It is intentional, the 0.18 version was published a bit incomplete, the events where Felicity appears were not rewritten or replaced, probably for lack of time to do the work.
When I played that part the game explained the situation, did you skip reading it or did the explanation fail to appear in your play?
My understanding is this story breaking situation solves itself in version 0.19.
I just wasn't sure because Lin ends up in a similar spot in this version, so when you finish her arc the game tells you that "you'll come back as if this didn't happen so you can keep interacting with her" (same as with Felicity). But her sleep with options and alarm options are still appearing. So I wondered why Felicity is kinda "shadowbanned" from the bed options now
Hopefully, this shadow ban gets lifted for you guys. Unfortunately, I think it will stick around in Australia for a long ass while (unlucky me). Fun fact, a fair few religious people are also signing the petition, they state
