If there is not enough storage, maybe some files failed to be extracted and are now missing? When you start unzipping the 12 GB file, you must have more than 12 GB free space on the device and folder where you install the game.
Hi! I ran into a bug which I was wondering if there was a solution for. After Android's 9th event (the one where Kali tries to fix her), i get an error every time I try to access "History". This seems to be permanent, i.e. History cannot be accessed from that point forward without producing an error.

I had to get rid of this game a while ago because of space issues on my computer, now i'm here thinking of this game again so I went ahead and checked up on it. I am really starting to miss playing this because the story was sooo good and there was a lot of content so I think I'm gonna download it again because this was actually an outstanding game and there seems to also be some new content that i haven't already seen.
If you play on PC or Mac, the save files on your computer should still be available, so you can continue where you left off or start a new game from the beginning.

I rarely leave comments on here, but this game is seriously incredible. The porn aspect of it is great, the quality is amazing and there's so much of it. But that's not why I found myself constantly returning to play more, it was the story and characters. They feel very fleshed out and real, each having a unique personality and beautifully written personal history. As a bug tester for mobile/Android division for another adult game I have learned a lot. The way they work is it takes the PC game, and the dev has to downgrade almost everything about the original for it to work. This game was a lot of high-quality images and a downgrade of a game with beautiful visuals like Harem Hotel won't look good. My boss is also finding it difficult to maintain the mobile downgrade.
Yeah, when using .apk, you need to keep under 2GB, which means we will have to make the image quality worse every update. Eventually I just couldn't make the images any worse without them being a complete blurry mess.
Which I always found odd. They state a max of 4 GB limit but around 2 GB is what it mostly can take. I use BlueStacks Android emulator because my mobile device is an Amazon Fire tablet and while it accepts apk files it struggles to play them. I usually get 5-15 minutes of play time before it crashes. But again, not the games' fault but my device.

I messed something and need help. I probably bought Slut Outfit for Felicity too early. I did have option to give her before and it failed because her Sluttiness was too low. Now it is high enough but giving option at the door is gone. If I tried to photo her with outfit -option is greyed like I never bought it- , the game crashes. And I cannot buy the outfit at computer, it says it was already bought.
I am playing in PC 0.18.2 version. I remember the outfit wrong. It was Sexy Gothic one and I have not purchased that one. When I tried to take photos, the game crashes. After buying it, there is no problem. I guess it solved itself.
I just blitzed through 52 hours of some of the best character writing I've ever had the pleasure of reading in the last four days. Like, I am simply impressed with how Runey has not only grown as a writer over the years but also with how these characters transform from "single-word archetypes" to fully-fledged, interconnected people with hopes, dreams, fears, and growth. Even side characters like Kate appear to have a ton of consideration for what makes them unique, how that changes how they navigate through the world and in relationships, and why they're looking for connection with the player or other characters.
And on top of all that, there's a legitimately fascinating plotline that weaves these lives together while actively building a world that is equal parts wildly different and all-too-familiar.
I look forward to watching this game continue to grow into its second act!

Updates have gotten bigger and more detailed over the years, which has caused the updates to take longer. I always try to guarantee each of the 8 main characters gets at least one story event and include plenty of side content for each update as well. Instead of this, I could release updates for 4 main characters at a time. For example, Lin, Kali, Ashley and Maria for v0.20, then Android, Felicity & Emma, and Autumn for v0.21.
So would you prefer smaller, more regular updates, or do you prefer things as they are?
I find the problem not so much how often the updates happen but how slow the progress is. It took a year to get from 0.17 to 0.18, but there was not much new content to play.
I’m not complaining about this as such, if it takes a year to create such high quality content then that is time well spent.

Well, my father died between v0.17 and v0.18, and I moved countries as well, so that was a special case. That took months upon months to get through. (The legal nonsense behind it all was a mess. Both from my father's death and moving countries.) v0.18 did have slightly less content than v0.17, but still more than v0.16.
Sorry to hear that. Regarding feedback i think that the smaller update track would keep me more interested in the game overall vs checking back and having nothing new to come back to. I understand both approaches however overall the game is super quality so thank you for this game.
As someone with a lot of patience, I'd love to see larger content updates with each character being properly addressed. I'd say the main thing would be finding your groove once again, as regardless if the updates are large or small the development of the game is, reasonably so, in a slowed state. So whichever comes easier for you to get back into things is the option I'd prefer the most.
I would prefer larger updates in my opinion. If it was sold through a store that didn't require me to manually download and install patches, my opinion would be different, but I'm perfectly fine with large updates.

Android is very tricky. But I recently learned of a possible workaround to the 2GB limit that Renpy locks .APKs to. So with any luck, v0.19 will have a much simpler android download.
I just got here, so I don't know the update history here. But I will always advocate for a "it's ready when it's ready" approach. Take as long as you need to as much as you want to. <3
The way you're going is perfect, I see no reason to change it. Even though I'm not the most patient person, I can still appreciate all the effort that's put into the updates and amazing character development and storytelling (not even counting the kinky stuff) and all that makes it so worth the wait. So I'd much prefer the way you're going over something this special turning into something janky and basic like so many other games on Itch and I think most people would agree. Keep up the great work!
I get what you mean. I have looked at the instructions for the Android version many times and never got it to wok. Worst part is, I am a part of an Android version adult game tech support. That Joiplay is the worst thing I ever attempted to learn about. I know some people will argue with me about it, but my experience is my own. I wish you the best of luck with your experience.

You know, I don't know what's up those buttons at the bottom of the dialogue. They're default with Renpy, and just seem to disappear after a while.

You should say what version you are playing and on which platform.
Show crash log or screenshot of the crashed game. There may be log.txt file in the directory where you installed the game.

I agree shorter faster updates would be better. (my dev friends say 2-3 months is good time to hammer out content while keeping people interested.)

There is no Android version of this game. It is played on Android using the PC version and running it under emulator.
