I tried and download exe files . Exe files is for computer so i tried to use it in joiplay and all the requirement so nothing happened so I wish it was on omega my phone has 120k GB storage
So i got a problem with the saves too because i cant find my old saves anywhere. I searched for example in Internal Storage / Android / data but the data folder is empty and they arent in the other folders in my Android section. I even accidentally copied my Mythic Manor Saves into this game which looked funny but didnt help of course. Also opened the last version again and my saves are all still there..Help ;-;
Edit: I found out i cant access to these saves with my dumb phone and need a PC for that. Since i dont have one cuz i am poor af i have to restart it every time now ._.

For example, when starting writing Lins story, was the idea already back then to have it develop to being primarily about the liberation? Did you know about Maria's genetic heritage when she was first introduced? Things like that.

You have to keep in mind that runey (as far as I know) does it all alone. There is no big team behind the game like any mobile game in the playstore. And I think at this point it is just too hard to get this all in one apk data.
Sure its a bit annoying to setup at first. But next time we just need to download the pc version, unpack it again, change exe in joiplay and done.
So- I tried doing the emulator and it kept crashing. Too frustrating so I decided to install the PC version. All my saves were toasted so I figured I'd use the cheat codes to get to the point I was....but the money codes will not work on the PC. So...do I start grinding again or is there a fix I'm missing?

Harem Hotel is nearly 7GB because there's over 750 unique events and over20,850 1920x1080 images. Without current compression, the game would be 60GB - 70GB
Just want to say that this is the best H-game I have ever played. But I would like to see some improvements on main character. It's not like he is bad. He is actually decent. But since all the other characters are so well developed (heck even MCs grandfather) I can't help but feel that the the character I am playing as is falling behind.
MC isn't even a main character in my eyes, he's the PC or player character. The main characters are the 8 women who stay in this hotel. The PC is supportive and a narrative vehicle to drive the main character's story forward.
The PC, who you play as, is meant to be anyone. Anyone can be the guy who helps his neighbors with their problems. The more of a personality I give to him, or the more of a story, the more I distance him from the person playing him.
I followed the instructions for androids so the main problem for me is the save files that i don't know where to find in the files i wish it have for mega so it's easy to download
Try to make a new save in the new game first. Joiplay will then create a save folder where you can put your saves. Thats what I did first, because I couldnt find the directory for the datas first.
Dang that sad to hear, sadly I dont know any workaround for this. But honestly fresh start isnt that bad. Especially when a old save is used from like 1y+ its cool to do a fresh start because some early events got changed.
Ok, I just found a way to resolve my problem about "not enough space on android for pc version" and Im glad that I did it - now game became much more better and smoother :)

Ah the Maria story... it pains me even more, partly because she is my second fav, partly because I could see that coming when she wanted the test but couldn't do anything about it (honestly, I'm surprised that she didn't think that something like that could happen when it was hinted many times that things like that happens in this world). But I know why you did it like that. Ah, this game make me think about things and I don't like that, I want to be happy. :P

Obviously a bit early so not likely anyone does, but on the off chance, does anyone know if there's liable to be more light-hearted content in next update? I'm not saying this as a criticism, but I personally found that the content in this update was too heavily weighted towards serious situations, and in several cases downright depressing.
Don't get me wrong, as an author myself, I think the story in this update for the characters makes sense in a narrative sense. There wasn't anything wrong with it. But I just felt the extremely 'heavy' nature of the content, especially with Maria and Android, was kinda too much in one go without any more light-hearted content to balance it out. Whilst the nature of the world in the game means there will be serious sections, the overall feel I get from the game as a whole is more fun, and this update didn't balance well towards that. Even the Ash event, which you'd think would have ended with a more cheerful vibe, kind of felt sad, even at the end.
Sorry if that seems critical, don't mean it to. Just wondering if we're going to see a bit less doom-and-gloom in the next update, because this one was just a bit too depressing for me :) Obviously with android event and Maria's situation in particular, there's going to be some more seriousness to come, but I'm hoping the next one's just not THIS heavy again.
I can't tell you what content I'll be adding in v0.13 specifically, but a big theme in this game is fixing people, healing mental scars, that sort of thing. The MC has helped the women in the hotel a lot, but the world is still a bad place, and every character will have a reason to want to change the world into something better. You saw two good examples in Maria and Android this update.
In v0.13, android's next event may involve the philosophy what it means to be alive in an android's body, which may not be the most cheerful event. After this little arc though, she will grow as a person and be happier.
Growing as a person after being knocked down is also a repeating theme in Harem Hotel, so please continue to expect that :)
As for Ashley's event, I intended it to be uplifting. She woke up depressed that morning, not knowing why, and it ended as one of the best and most memorable days of Ashley's life.

You can convert the pc version on the android with joiplay on playstore check out his patreon tutorial on how to download the android. I'll post it below in case you don't wanna go there:
1. Download the PC version of the game.
2. Unpack the .zip using RAR or your desired unpacking tool.
3. Download Joiplay and the Ren'py plugin through the Google Play store.
4. Launch Joiplay, when your on the main menu click the "+" button on the bottom right. Enter game name, version and (optional) game icon.
5. On the "Executable File" click Choose and go to the location where you downloaded the game, when inside the unpacked game folder choose the .exe game file and click Choose. When all information looks correct, feel free to click on the "Add" button.
6. You're now done and good to go. Have fun! (You may also want to move saves around)

It is a bit jarring, but fair as well, as she'd want to try to cling to her old life, as almost every ounce of it was just ripped away without warning. She does refuse to visit the Dungeon, at least
I just made an account specifically to leave this comment) First, thank you for making this game with such a well written story. It was really great to see how all the hints you left before were played in the update. Too bad the MC is not attentive enough to follow them as well, it would make a huge difference in Maria's story. I hope he gets some development in the future. Maybe him finally recognizing Juliet in the clothes store can be the start of this development and also of her story. By the way, the background event with her during Kate's scene was a nice idea.
Also Sylvia's story about the life of high elves is inconsistent with what she said during the boat trip (which is another time when the MC was way too slow, the mentioning of crystals was enough to at least suspect what's really going on, but he was clueless until it was shown).
The MC's behaviour during Maria's event could also be different. When he called Cornwall, I expected him to ask for help to ensure she at least can stay safe and return home when everything's done. Guess his emotions were just too strong for him to think of this opportunity. Well, looks like he just got another reason to eventually run against him in the election.
Another thing that's really bothering me is what looks like the characters' left legs are broken in Kate's "reward" scene and when Kali is asleep at the beach. There are probably more instances of it, but since those two are new they just stand out.
And, finally, I really appreciate the "interact" option and hope the side characters are also going to get it in the next version. So, again, thank you for everything you've already done and good luck to you in the future.
MC is not a character, MC is you. You're meant to figure these things out, and he will bring them up in the story.

Cornwall is an antagonist and the reason these things happened to Maria. Without going into too many spoilers, would you really react calmly to what happened? Asking Cornwall to handle things nicely wouldn't have done anything, he wants power and could less of a shit about some random citizen. These things happen thousands of times a day in this world. And this is when MC becomes fully on board with changing the world.
I've looked through those scenes, they look fine to me.
The part about MC is not entirely true. While we as players can project our views onto his actions, there are some things we can't change because the game obviously can't (and shouldn't) include every possible outcome. There is no option to say "Hey, aren't you Juliet, Ashley's friend?" when you first see her working in the store or "Wait, Maria, what if THIS was the reason you were abandoned? Maybe doing the DNA test is not a good idea after all", even if it doesn't change anything in how the events progress. I simply think it's better for the overall story to see those moments you can't control as a part of the protagonist's true personality not depending on the player's actions and apply it in the future to make the gaming process even more interesting. The game is fine without it, but you can still use this thought to your advantage.
The inconsistency I'm talking about is the role of fairies in the high elf society. When you travel to the island, Sylvia says the crystals from her mines are special, but she's not sure why and what they're used for; she says the queen can move small objects using her mind but nobody knows how or how she knows everything that happens around. And then suddenly when you walk with her in the city later, she says every soldier works with a group of fairies and even can become invisible because of that. So does everybody know about the fairies, or just the queen and her closest supporters (probably including high-ranking military positions)? Did Sylvia always know that or was it something she figured out after returning and maybe talking to the fairies currently living in the hotel?
As I see the situation with Cornwall, he might actually find benefit in helping a person close enough with Kali's father as some kind of future investment into his power. And still, trying to use even a nearly non-existing chance to help a person the MC cares about would be better than just randomly and pointlessly declaring how he feels. Again, it might not change anything, let Cornwall reply "Fuck off, I don't care" and lead to exactly the same reaction. At least he would've done everything that was in his power, which is something a desperate person would do.
And this is what I'm talking about. Such angle is not possible without an injury.
Can you please make the downloads into parts? Most phones cannot handle big download files exceeding 2-3 gigabytes. Thank you very much for this amazing game!
What you mean most phone cannot handle downloads over 3gb ? I never had any problems downloading big files 5gb+ on my phone directly from my mobile network.
Hey Runey, is it possible to get a Mega link for the PC version. I want to play on Android using the steps you mentioned...... It's such a big file that it doesn't get downloaded and in the middle of the Download it stops and says "Forbidden". I don't have that problem in Mega.... If at all possible, please.....

Game is very big, this is true and there is so much content (and what is unusual for such game - very great story and detailed world)... Just wow. I, at least, must say "THANK YOU" for your work! I like it very much :)
As for size... Last apk that I still have installed was 1.7GB. I hoped that increase in size would not be so huge after update... But, I do not complain, I will think what I can do with this.

Hello Runey, at first thanks for the game. But i have problem when i try download the game with "nopy". Its always failed, first at 70% and then 63%.
I already try with using Vpn. But with limited speed, it will take 5-6 hour to complete the download.

your old saves should be in :
internal storage/android/data/harem.hotel/file/saves
copy and paste everything to :
storage/android/data/cyou.joiplay.renpy/files/harem hotel/saves
after you have installed Joiplay/ the extra renpy plugin from the playstore for joiplay, and unpacked the pc game.
Works like a charm for me. Sometimes the initial loading in Joiplay takes 2 Minutes to load.

On a side note, love this game, keep up the good work.
Go to sdcard/data, find folder that belongs to Harem Hotel, take folder "saves" and move it directly to the folder of PC version.

First, thank you for making this game with such a well written story. It was really great to see how all the hints you left before were played in the update. Too bad the MC is not attentive enough to follow them as well, it would make a huge difference in Maria's story. I hope he gets some development in the future. Maybe him finally recognizing Juliet in the clothes store can be the start of this development and also of her story. By the way, the background event with her during Kate's scene was a nice idea.
Also Sylvia's story about the life of high elves is inconsistent with what she said during the boat trip (which is another time when the MC was way too slow, the mentioning of crystals was enough to at least suspect what's really going on, but he was clueless until it was shown).
The MC's behaviour during Maria's event could also be different. When he called Cornwall, I expected him to ask for help to ensure she at least can stay safe and return home when everything's done. Guess his emotions were just too strong for him to think of this opportunity. Well, looks like he just got another reason to eventually run against him in the election.
Another thing that's really bothering me is what looks like the characters' left legs are broken in Kate's "reward" scene and when Kali is asleep at the beach. There are probably more instances of it, but since those two are new they just stand out.
And, finally, I really appreciate the "interact" option and hope the side characters are also going to get it in the next version. So, again, thank you for everything you've already done and good luck to you in the future.

MC is not a character, MC is you. You're meant to figure these things out, and he will bring them up in the story.
Please let me know which inconsistencies there are. And I'm glad you were able to catch on, but some people need things obviously explained.
Cornwall is an antagonist and the reason these things happened to Maria. Without going into too many spoilers, would you really react calmly to what happened? Asking Cornwall to handle things nicely wouldn't have done anything, he wants power and could less of a shit about some random citizen. These things happen thousands of times a day in this world. And this is when MC becomes fully on board with changing the world.
I've looked through those scenes, they look fine to me.
The part about MC is not entirely true. While we as players can project our views onto his actions, there are some things we can't change because the game obviously can't (and shouldn't) include every possible outcome. There is no option to say "Hey, aren't you Juliet, Ashley's friend?" when you first see her working in the store or "Wait, Maria, what if THIS was the reason you were abandoned? Maybe doing the DNA test is not a good idea after all", even if it doesn't change anything in how the events progress. I simply think it's better for the overall story to see those moments you can't control as a part of the protagonist's true personality not depending on the player's actions and apply it in the future to make the gaming process even more interesting. The game is fine without it, but you can still use this thought to your advantage.
The inconsistency I'm talking about is the role of fairies in the high elf society. When you travel to the island, Sylvia says the crystals from her mines are special, but she's not sure why and what they're used for; she says the queen can move small objects using her mind but nobody knows how or how she knows everything that happens around. And then suddenly when you walk with her in the city later, she says every soldier works with a group of fairies and even can become invisible because of that. So does everybody know about the fairies, or just the queen and her closest supporters (probably including high-ranking military positions)? Did Sylvia always know that or was it something she figured out after returning and maybe talking to the fairies currently living in the hotel?
As I see the situation with Cornwall, he might actually find benefit in helping a person close enough with Kali's father as some kind of future investment into his power. And still, trying to use even a nearly non-existing chance to help a person the MC cares about would be better than just randomly and pointlessly declaring how he feels. Again, it might not change anything, let Cornwall reply "Fuck off, I don't care" and lead to exactly the same reaction. At least he would've done everything that was in his power, which is something a desperate person would do.
And this is what I'm talking about. Such angle is not possible without an injury.

What you mean most phone cannot handle downloads over 3gb ? I never had any problems downloading big files 5gb+ on my phone directly from my mobile network.

And then i copied to my phone internal storage (thanks for ext4 can copy file 1TB per file).
And i extracted from my phone to my microSD card. It take almost 3 f***ing hours. Damn.

You are able to play it on android. If you don't have enough space for this game to fit on your phone, there's not much I can do about that. Harem Hotel is a big game, and without compression it would be 60GB - 70GB.
Game is very big, this is true and there is so much content (and what is unusual for such game - very great story and detailed world)... Just wow. I, at least, must say "THANK YOU" for your work! I like it very much :)
As for size... Last apk that I still have installed was 1.7GB. I hoped that increase in size would not be so huge after update... But, I do not complain, I will think what I can do with this.
