I tried gettting the new version when it released (v0.13), but it was taking super long to download. I waited a while and now it's 79 days after release and the same thing happens. Nopy says it will take 6 hours to download a 7.3 GB file... Nopy is the issue for sure since I've been downloading all sorts of other stuff off the internet as big as 100GB within an hour or so. Even if I do wait the 6 hours, it fails every time. Please, let me know if there is a way to get it without using Nopy. Thank you!
Comments like this don't help people solve problems. I'm glad Nopy is working for you, but it's clear that Nopy isn't working for me. I need another way to get the game at this time.
Try another mirror. There are Google and Mega links for example, I've just always preferred Nopy because while it's usually slow af, it doesn't impose data limits. There's sometimes also this site called "AnonFiles" that's basically Nopy but faster and uses a neat green text black background interface to make you feel like some hacker in a movie lol. Patreon has the most stable links btw. No idea why essentially the same link just on a different site matters now and then, but yeah.
Google Drive still says too many people have been accessing it so I can't use that. Trying Mega currently.

There are other download links on patreon which should be public (if they're not, you probably just have to follow Runey on patreon, no money required). There's google drive links which should be much better.
Hello nice game! But currently there is a bug?/Problem for android. When you go to the pc and click the application for the code, you can get hardlocked from the game and get stuck in the code screen if you don't input a correct code. There seems to be no way to get out if the code screen even by just using the back button on my phone. Hopefully this gets fixed, other than that solid game 8/10
If you're on pc use keyboard to choose the beck button and if you're on Android use the controller option of joy play that you can activate by clicking on the bottom of your phone it show's as a little arrow i think
Click on it and you can use controller bittons with them choose the exit botton
I've run into a similar or possibly the same problem on PC, where if you enter an invalid code it comes up with a crash screen logging the crash event. If this is the problem that you're having, it takes a few times of hitting the "Ignore" option to go through the logged events before you can get back to the normal game.
hello i cant click on the reception desk without the game crashing so i have to avoid clicking it to try everything else. I got up to Ashley and maria in there room giggling and then it also crashes after a little of there dialogue is there any ways around these issues i am playing on pc .

Hey, I think I am having a similar issue. The game seems to crash near reception and partway through most conversations. I'm re-downloading the game, but I have also gotten a copy of the files from my brother's working games directly from his computer. It may be totally unrelated, but if you have any insight, I'd love to hear it, thanks!

i also have some suggestions (warning: essay ahead):
1) scene variety with repeated scenes (i think you did mention this would happen in a post somewhere, but i cant find that post rn so forgive me if i am beating a dead horse). what i mean by this is that some scenes make sense during the story, but when redoing them as an optional thing while "training" the girls the dialog or actions no longer make sense given what else has happened between you two or other characters.
a potential solution? You could simply change the dialog during the scene as a simple 'fix'. A complete new 'post story' scene is also an option, which would potentially make the interaction more natural than just a text change. (and the story scene for those that like that better? in the gallery i suppose)
the one part where something like this is already implemented well is the dungeon's (which i hope gets more content btw!) punishments. The dialog changes based on your standings with that character.
(this is not a big issue at all btw, its just a small something ive picked up on. i know it would require alot of effort and disk space for minimal results, so don't feel obliged to work on it if you don't feel like its worth it).
2) security cameras having more of an effect. I might be wrong here, but right now the only thing to see really is one constant slide per character and the showers, which are also pretty much a once off. I remember being a little disappointed at not being able to spy on maria after finding out she does cam work (i know, i know, my mind's in the gutters)
Do the girls not interact with each other more? such as that maria/android moment? even non sexual stuff like kali playing with someone in the hotel in a 2 player PC game, or a girl watching a movie instead of her usual thing, would add some variety and interest for the camera system.
I would imagine this is something you already want to expand by the time the full game is ready, i just hope you haven't forgotten about it since it became irrelevant pretty early on.
3) the VR set! only having 3 games? (if i am remembering right) is unfortunate, and it kinda feels forgotten as well. i would personally say to worry about that only after the main story is completed to your liking, as from what i understand the VR set is meant for non-cannon fun.
4) the menu-ing is kinda awkward. Thats not really a surprise tho, most H games ive played have awkward menu/ui stuff, lol. I do imagine that it might be made a little smoother (being able to travel from place to place easier) as time goes on.

Hi, just finished v0.13.2 along with the side girls. I had a lot of fun getting to know the different girls. For a free game, a lot of work has been put into it and I really appreciate it.
I was wondering though, not all the side girl scenes are viewable in the library. I was looking to see if I can replay some of Moon's scenes but I can only see the first one in the gallery. Is it an issue on my end or was this not implemented?
I've only included special story events and unique one-time sex scenes in the gallery. There are over 800 events in the game, so setting up a gallery that big would take A LOT of effort.
But I also haven't updated the gallery in a while. I probably will in v0.14.
Appreciate the response. I understand that there are a lot of events and I'm sorry I wasn't clear. I meant that there were some sex scenes with Moon after the one that is seen in the gallery. I'm not expecting you to put in every single scene as there are a lot of them in the game with all those characters. Because the gallery is (understandably) quite small, I always make a new save right before a good scene. My save page has essentially become a gallery at this point
I have commented here before but I just wanted to tell you how much I love this game!! I have finished all the main story lines now and am eagerly awaiting the next update. I really hope we get to see more of the side characters as well, Kate and Moon are my favourite girls in the game <3
Those girls aren’t my favorites, but I do really like how all the girls have unique characteristics and are all lovable in their ways. My favorites are probably Autumn, Ashley, Felicity+Emma, and Kali's little sister! But they are pretty much all great!
Hey Runey, ive been playing this game for the last week or so and let me just tell you i love it, the characters are great and i wish for this game to continue to get updates forever hehe.
I love the "clones" Emma is by far my fav of the game she is such a lovable and cute character, im hoping i still have a decent amount to do as i just went to the winter cabin with the girls it was great.

um runey, i don't want to lead your game but, the game is getting uncontrollably big, dont you think its time to make a part two of the game??? And continue the game's story there?? I am so sad, my game was glitched and wouldn't allow me to progress with Maria past level 29. I decided to do the code of jumping to the end with her and intended to load my previous save to take me back, but I accidently overwrote my save, and now the game keeps telling me to revert my changes and I have no idea how. Does anybody know?
As the code should warn, you should never use those codes after you've already played the game. It breaks it. You need to reload to a time before you put in the code.
Thank you!!! I took an autosave and replaced it into slot through appdata so I recovered my place. Do you have any advice on how to get Maria past level 29?? I have completely finished all the girls except for Autumn and the game doesnt give me an option to activate an event with her. I cant seem to figure it out.
I noticed something idk if you meant for it to be this way or not but...*spoilers*
After Maria is taken away by the hospital from her DNA test. If you have the Android get her memories back while Maria is gone it is possible the Android will have a scene with Maria...the one where she dominates Maria and takes her around the hotel showing everyone. Even though she is not at the hotel anymore the scene will still play like she is there.
It was after she entered the bedroom with Ellen and got her memories back. I think I may have also gotten her the human expansion kit. I have the Android at level 29 at the moment. So if I remember right it was either her level 27 or 28 scene. Maria is still gone for me but looking in the info tab my Maria is at level 31.
So far I've spent around 6 hours playing and its frankly amazing how much content is in the game and how well written the dialogue is. There have only been 1 or 2 spelling errors that I have noticed which is rare for a F2P visual novel games like this and that is something quite impressive. The images are also incredibly well made and clrealy have love put into them.
Without trying to spoil much, I will say the characters are written incredibly well and generally make logical decisions with only a few nitpicks here and there. The whole plot with elves and how they are treated is genuinely great and thats where I left off for the day before writing this review.
As a warning, there will be spoilers past this point for one character: There is only one major flaw in the game that I have seen so far and that is 1 character who seems incredibly out of place, that being Ashley.
Ashley feels like she is in the wrong game and jarringly shifts the tone whenever she is on screen. Unlike the other girls who have a hard outer shell and problems to overcome, she is outright malicious to everyone and anything that gets close to you and is way way way more down the extreme end of the Yandere scale to the point of Yandere Simulator levels of sociopathy. She will pull out a knife and threaten to kill her best friend on a dime, she verbally and physically assaults some of the girls who have never even seen her before, she threatens to do unspeakable things to some of the girls, she blackmales some of the girls and she attempts to rape you in your sleep. All the while, her actions are shrugged off as "Well, she's a little weird" and takes away from the intelligent writing of the other girls. I feel going from well written and logical progression to "Oh, she pulled a knife on me, how quirky!" really cheapens the story and the well written dialogue and really took me out of the game and world every time.
I will admit that I have not completed Ashleys story and its possible I have her in a weird limbo spot that most wont see but quite frankly, I want nothing to do with her as I find her to be a genuinely terrible human being and find being told that 'I like them more for threatening to murder people close to me! +1 Friendship!' is borderline insulting to the rest of the story and other characters. The worst part is, you are almost always forced to go along with her and agree with her extreme decisions with no option to step in and tell her to get the hell out of the hotel (At least where I'm at in the story). I feel it cheapens what is a gem of a story as it forces characters to make illogical decisions to accommodate her story.
I dont mean this mini review/large comment from a malicious place as I truly am interested to see how the story will develop and would recommend the game to most people however if you came in looking for a cute, clingy kind of yandere, this game isnt for you and that one character can really take away from the intriguing story as a whole as she is unavoidable for the most part.
I can tell you haven't gotten far into Ashley's story haha. Those who hold your same opinion on the earlier parts of Ashley's story come to regret it later on when things start to make sense. Out of any main character in the game, Ashley has the hardest shell and it actually takes a while for you to understand her. I can't say she has problems worse than slavery, but she has some very rough problems as well. Just keep playing, and try to read between the lines. Maybe even watch her room's cameras ;)
I'm also not quite sure which extreme reactions you're talking about, but this is probably hyperbolic. She has also never pulled a knife on MC in a serious way. And has never raped MC. Ashley is a broken person with many problems that get resolved. All characters in HH grow a lot from the first time you meet them.
The problem I found is that for me personally, she has become so irredeemable that I dont want to do her story. I'm aware that she looks sad on the camera's as do most of the girls as all of them have their own reasons to be where they are and most arent positive. I also understand the idea that she is clingy due to something bad happening in the past but all she does is hold up huge red flags of a sociopath so why would I want to get closer to them?
As for the more extreme issues, what I mean is she pulls a knife on Maria for getting close, only for the player character to calm Ashley down and then proceed to justify with Maria about how it isnt a big deal, brushing it off as almost a joke.
She berates, belittles and insults Lin despite supposedly not caring about elves with no way of stepping in to stop her. (I'm pretty sure that in one of those scenes, you get a friendship level up for Ashley for witnessing it but I could be wrong)
She berates, humiliates, physically changes and physically assaults the Android despite the Android trying desperately to get along with people, Ashley instead opting to forcefully change the Androids body and then proceeding to hit the Android in the face. Once again, there is pretty much no way to step in and stop her or at least tell Ashley how much of a sociopath she is.
She also proceeds to blackmail Felicity despite Felicity wanting nothing to do with Ashley, only for Ashley to then force Felicity to dress in skimpy clothing, blackmail more and force Felicity to lick her boots.
With all of this in mind, why would I in my right mind want to know her backstory? She could be the most abused person on the planet sexually and physically but she acts like such a complete sociopath that she has become irredeemable in my eyes and I am very confident there isnt a backstory in the world that would make me feel sympathy for her.
I get that as a writer, you would want everyone to see a character like Ashley from your perspective and that is completely understandable and admirable however from my personal real life experiences with people like Ashley, having no options to call her out on her actions or worse yet being forced to go along with them heavily detracts from the much more interesting stories at play, especially when she becomes involved in those other characters' stories. If all Ashley did was warn the other girls to back off, that would be fine even if there was verbal abuse but instead she opts to physically and verbally threaten and assault.
Edit: I also forgot to mention what I mean by raping the MC. Sneaking into someones room when they are asleep and trying to have sex with them would count as sexual assault as there is no consent. If I remember correctly, you cant even tell her to get out of the room at that point and have to go along with it once you wake up.
If you don't like her, that's fine. I'm not trying to convince you to like her.
She just isn't the sociopath you think she is. Ashley is a broken person and does heal. She is also not the only character with a few bigoted views at first. F&E are very classist and rude, as just one example. These are plot points that eventually become resolved, as is the nature of a story. Rags to riches, in a sense.
I agree, a lot of the characters do have bigoted views however they are at least civil to an extent. My only point was that while the other characters such as F&E may be rude, they are never threatening to anyone else and at worst attempt to stir up problems which gets shut down quickly. Ashley is the only one of the cast who actively goes out of her way to consistently threaten and assault which seems out of place from the other cast.
I understand that Ashley may be your personal favourite character as the writer and I dont wish to berate the writing as a whole as it is genuinely excellent for the rest of the cast, however it would at least be nice to have an option to call her out when she is out of order instead of being forced to go along with it.
Maybe it would be worth slowing the escalation the more friendship you have with Ashley as currently if you dont do her story but do everyone elses, everyone else is facing their demons and overcoming trauma, meanwhile Ashley is running around like a mad-woman brandishing knives and attacking people and that's at friendship level 13, which is normally the point where you understand someones backstory enough to get an idea of who they are and how to fix their issue. You also dont fix someone with those kinds of issues by going along with their defence mechanism. Heck if you could call Ashley out and it lowered her affection then that would make sense. It could also introduce a mechanic where sometimes you need to be cruel to be kind like you do with Lin and her story of becoming free. As a mechanic, it could be a puzzle of sorts and would give you as the writer more opportunities to add even more depth and approaches to each girl.
I genuinely dont mean what I am saying here as an insult as there is a lot here to love and I want to see it improve even more than it already is, however I fear that anyone who has had to deal with the aftermath of an Ashley in real life will not take kindly to her actions and may be taken out of the game's world as a whole due to there being no choice to say she is in the wrong.
What can I say? I already understand you don't like her. The points about you not liking it are clearly understood by now.
Ashley however isn't the crazy sociopath you claim she is. She isn't going out of her way to start fights (though she does engage in them early on, like you said, defense mechanism), or attacking people with knives, nor does MC go along with any of that. Friendship 13 is very early in her story. You also don't fix a broken person by being cruel to them (which is also not something you do in Lin's story?) You have a very wrong impression on her character and story, simply because you haven't played all there is yet. Others can attest to this. I hope anyone who deals with any Ashley in real life doesn't think they're just a sociopath who attacks people.
If you want to argue with the writer over the intent of a character you haven't fully experienced, this isn't a conversation I want to further engage with.
I will second Runey42's statements about Ashley. Just keep playing. Ashley quickly goes from my least favorite to one of the most amazingly written characters I've seen in a game. I know I'm a big softy, but she has several scenes that leave me in tears. In my opinion, she becomes the heart behind the whole story.
Should really continue her story before such a heavy judgement tbh, especially since you are "truly interested to see how the story will develop". Drop the character if you want, that's fine. But don't judge on what you don't know. I saw your previous post here before you deleted it, btw. Big oof.

trying to get the Mac version onto my iPad... help and suggestions welcome... “Buy a PC” is not helpful or useful to me!! I’ve heard it so many times regarding game emulation I really don’t need that...
This game can't be played on iPad as far as I'm aware. If you were to start that process, it would probably involve the PC build.
Unfortunately, what you've been told so many times is true. You will either need a PC or Android phone to be able to play Harem Hotel. There is no known way to me to install the Mac version on your iPad.
Sorry to ask this but I tried to use the joiplay in playstore but my game is always crashing, I even tried to downgrade it but it said it cannot find the game data. But I executed it Just like in the instructions :( I've also installed the ren'py plugin. Pls help I really love this game

From the others translating you attempting to say you're having installation issues and the game crashes. Assuming you installed correctly, and on Android (context helps), sounds like the standard JoiPlay problem. Runey is not JoiPlay's dev, he is Harem Hotel's. Not sure if the old solution works since it updated and has the same damn problem, but downgrading to 1.01.400 and disabling auto-update was the primary fix. You could also enable beta builds and use 1.01.500 specifically, as others failed to work. So again, please don't blame Runey for someone else's program not working. Harem Hotel is not the only game run on JoiPlay, and he's not its dev anyway.
having read the 0.14 developmental post properly i have the following to say
1. we're going to see inside autumn and hazels church by the looks of it...
2. ashley going back to her old looks to try and possibly jog mrs rens memory (this tells me we're going to find her or get very close... i wait to see)
3. the red diamonds and triangles on the black background... i have no idea what these are about, and am intrigued to find out (i'm very possibly missing a very obvious link here that is hiding in plain sight)
4. late November?? in the name of autumns tight virgin holes... please don't let that slip too much!!

I am incredibly impressed. The amount of work that goes into this game is enormous. The number of one-time renderings alone is staggering. And all for a game that is basically offered free of charge.
The story as a whole and the connections with the characters is on such a high level that I can really only think of a very small number of games that can keep up with this. Major AAA titles included.

I have a few suggestions though like we never see male elf side of story and since we are on male elves why are there so few of them ? I can only remember that Durn guy from fancy restaurant 🤔 , maybe you can include a male drow(might help with involving drow in revolution if we ever go that path) or male high elf in problem who becomes most loyal friend and later becomes guard of bar or something . And also a dance floor in bar lol. GREAT WORK! KEEP IT UP !!

In all seriousness, there are a few reasons why I develop less men than women. First is most obvious, my audience is mostly straight men, which also includes me.
Second is that this is a porn game specifically, so creating female characters just makes the most sense.
Third is that the male character creation engine I use is not great with men. In fact, it's so bad that I've resorted to using the female character creation engine to making male elves. Here's one (slight spoilers)

Hi. I have a question. I reached day 200 and now "Day 200" is constantly showing on the screen and it is ruining my game experience. So, is there a way to make it stop showing on the screen?

I don't know why that would be happening. But it should be fixed by loading a save prior to the bug occurring. If that fails, you may need to reinstall as well.
How do you best make money in this game? I need 10K Syls to free the thee elf slaves, but I burned my Trenaro money upgrading my Hotel and Android (aka Robo C*nt).
I can pull about $100/day with rent and pinups.
The bar pulls about $200/week
Do I need to upgrade the bar so it can make more money? I dont advertise much.
At this rate, it will take me over 4hrs of repetitive gameplay to got the ~8k syls I need to continue in the story.
Money is mostly passive in this game. It's extremely rare that I hear anyone have financial issues in Harem Hotel. In most cases of feedback I've received, players end the current story at around $4k - $7k extra.
It's likely that you waited a very long time before you purchased and upgraded the bar, which becomes your main source of income later in the game.
For active sources of income, you can sell pinups, which will make in a day what your other sources of income will make in a week.
Thanks dude! Consider this for any future balancing. Maybe give more incentive to start the bar sooner... have Ellen push MC more. Just a thought. The way I like to play gated/progression games is to finish the current "tier" before moving on. So, YES, I did wait... I assumed some stories may be broken/wonky if I progressed some further than others (which still happens, Android made a cameo on another girls quest-line when she was locked in her room, "splitting" and Maria just made a cameo when she is currently... MIA, in my game (no spoilers).).

Just checked it. I get ~an hour of estimated time(and I got it here before without fail). Unlike mega nopy has no limit, so it's preferable to me.

Hello nice game! But currently there is a bug?/Problem for android. When you go to the pc and click the application for the code, you can get hardlocked from the game and get stuck in the code screen if you don't input a correct code. There seems to be no way to get out if the code screen even by just using the back button on my phone. Hopefully this gets fixed, other than that solid game 8/10
There's an X button at the top right of the page.
If you're on pc use keyboard to choose the beck button and if you're on Android use the controller option of joy play that you can activate by clicking on the bottom of your phone it show's as a little arrow i think
Click on it and you can use controller bittons with them choose the exit botton
I've run into a similar or possibly the same problem on PC, where if you enter an invalid code it comes up with a crash screen logging the crash event. If this is the problem that you're having, it takes a few times of hitting the "Ignore" option to go through the logged events before you can get back to the normal game.
I believe that only happens when you insert no code at all? I'm not aware of any bugs relating to an invalid code.

hello i cant click on the reception desk without the game crashing so i have to avoid clicking it to try everything else. I got up to Ashley and maria in there room giggling and then it also crashes after a little of there dialogue is there any ways around these issues i am playing on pc .

Hey, I think I am having a similar issue. The game seems to crash near reception and partway through most conversations. I'm re-downloading the game, but I have also gotten a copy of the files from my brother's working games directly from his computer. i also have some suggestions (warning: essay ahead):
1) scene variety with repeated scenes (i think you did mention this would happen in a post somewhere, but i cant find that post rn so forgive me if i am beating a dead horse). what i mean by this is that some scenes make sense during the story, but when redoing them as an optional thing while "training" the girls the dialog or actions no longer make sense given what else has happened between you two or other characters.
a potential solution? You could simply change the dialog during the scene as a simple 'fix'. A complete new 'post story' scene is also an option, which would potentially make the interaction more natural than just a text change. (and the story scene for those that like that better? in the gallery i suppose)
the one part where something like this is already implemented well is the dungeon's (which i hope gets more content btw!) punishments. The dialog changes based on your standings with that character.
(this is not a big issue at all btw, its just a small something ive picked up on. i know it would require alot of effort and disk space for minimal results, so don't feel obliged to work on it if you don't feel like its worth it).
2) security cameras having more of an effect. I might be wrong here, but right now the only thing to see really is one constant slide per character and the showers, which are also pretty much a once off. I remember being a little disappointed at not being able to spy on maria after finding out she does cam work (i know, i know, my mind's in the gutters)
Do the girls not interact with each other more? such as that maria/android moment? even non sexual stuff like kali playing with someone in the hotel in a 2 player PC game, or a girl watching a movie instead of her usual thing, would add some variety and interest for the camera system.
I would imagine this is something you already want to expand by the time the full game is ready, i just hope you haven't forgotten about it since it became irrelevant pretty early on.
3) the VR set! only having 3 games? (if i am remembering right) is unfortunate, and it kinda feels forgotten as well. i would personally say to worry about that only after the main story is completed to your liking, as from what i understand the VR set is meant for non-cannon fun.
4) the menu-ing is kinda awkward. Thats not really a surprise tho, most H games ive played have awkward menu/ui stuff, lol. I do imagine that it might be made a little smoother (being able to travel from place to place easier) as time goes on.

Hi, just finished v0.13.2 along with the side girls. I had a lot of fun getting to know the different girls. For a free game, a lot of work has been put into it and I really appreciate it.
I was wondering though, not all the side girl scenes are viewable in the library. I was looking to see if I can replay some of Moon's scenes but I can only see the first one in the gallery. Is it an issue on my end or was this not implemented?

I've only included special story events and unique one-time sex scenes in the gallery. There are over 800 events in the game, so setting up a gallery that big would take A LOT of effort.
But I also haven't updated the gallery in a while. I probably will in v0.14.
Appreciate the response. I understand that there are a lot of events and I'm sorry I wasn't clear. I meant that there were some sex scenes with Moon after the one that is seen in the gallery. I'm not expecting you to put in every single scene as there are a lot of them in the game with all those characters. Sorry again if I wasn't clear and really appreciate the effort you put into the game.
Because the gallery is (understandably) quite small, I always make a new save right before a good scene. My save page has essentially become a gallery at this point
I have commented here before but I just wanted to tell you how much I love this game!! I have finished all the main story lines now and am eagerly awaiting the next update. I really hope we get to see more of the side characters as well, Kate and Moon are my favourite girls in the game <3

Those girls aren’t my favorites, but I do really like how all the girls have unique characteristics and are all lovable in their ways. My favorites are probably Autumn, Ashley, Felicity+Emma, and Kali's little sister! But they are pretty much all great!

I love the "clones" Emma is by far my fav of the game she is such a lovable and cute character, im hoping i still have a decent amount to do as i just went to the winter cabin with the girls it was great.

I am so sad, my game was glitched and wouldn't allow me to progress with Maria past level 29. I decided to do the code of jumping to the end with her and intended to load my previous save to take me back, but I accidently overwrote my save, and now the game keeps telling me to revert my changes and I have no idea how. Does anybody know?
As the code should warn, you should never use those codes after you've already played the game. It breaks it. You need to reload to a time before you put in the code.
Thank you!!! I took an autosave and replaced it into slot through appdata so I recovered my place. Do you have any advice on how to get Maria past level 29?? I have completely finished all the girls except for Autumn and the game doesnt give me an option to activate an event with her. I cant seem to figure it out.
I noticed something idk if you meant for it to be this way or not but...*spoilers*
After Maria is taken away by the hospital from her DNA test. If you have the Android get her memories back while Maria is gone it is possible the Android will have a scene with Maria...the one where she dominates Maria and takes her around the hotel showing everyone. Even though she is not at the hotel anymore the scene will still play like she is there.
Which part in Android's story did the happen specifically? Can you give me her friendship number at the time of the bug?

it plays by player going to her room and select *talk option, i took it just as minor glitch

It was after she entered the bedroom with Ellen and got her memories back. I think I may have also gotten her the human expansion kit. I have the Android at level 29 at the moment. So if I remember right it was either her level 27 or 28 scene. Maria is still gone for me but looking in the info tab my Maria is at level 31.
So far I've spent around 6 hours playing and its frankly amazing how much content is in the game and how well written the dialogue is. There have only been 1 or 2 spelling errors that I have noticed which is rare for a F2P visual novel games like this and that is something quite impressive. The images are also incredibly well made and clrealy have love put into them.
Without trying to spoil much, I will say the characters are written incredibly well and generally make logical decisions with only a few nitpicks here and there. The whole plot with elves and how they are treated is genuinely great and thats where I left off for the day before writing this review.
As a warning, there will be spoilers past this point for one character: There is only one major flaw in the game that I have seen so far and that is 1 character who seems incredibly out of place, that being Ashley.
Ashley feels like she is in the wrong game and jarringly shifts the tone whenever she is on screen. Unlike the other girls who have a hard outer shell and problems to overcome, she is outright malicious to everyone and anything that gets close to you and is way way way more down the extreme end of the Yandere scale to the point of Yandere Simulator levels of sociopathy. She will pull out a knife and threaten to kill her best friend on a dime, she verbally and physically assaults some of the girls who have never even seen her before, she threatens to do unspeakable things to some of the girls, she blackmales some of the girls and she attempts to rape you in your sleep. All the while, her actions are shrugged off as "Well, she's a little weird" and takes away from the intelligent writing of the other girls. I feel going from well written and logical progression to "Oh, she pulled a knife on me, how quirky!" really cheapens the story and the well written dialogue and really took me out of the game and world every time.
I will admit that I have not completed Ashleys story and its possible I have her in a weird limbo spot that most wont see but quite frankly, I want nothing to do with her as I find her to be a genuinely terrible human being and find being told that 'I like them more for threatening to murder people close to me! +1 Friendship!' is borderline insulting to the rest of the story and other characters. The worst part is, you are almost always forced to go along with her and agree with her extreme decisions with no option to step in and tell her to get the hell out of the hotel (At least where I'm at in the story). I feel it cheapens what is a gem of a story as it forces characters to make illogical decisions to accommodate her story.
I dont mean this mini review/large comment from a malicious place as I truly am interested to see how the story will develop and would recommend the game to most people however if you came in looking for a cute, clingy kind of yandere, this game isnt for you and that one character can really take away from the intriguing story as a whole as she is unavoidable for the most part.
I can tell you haven't gotten far into Ashley's story haha. Those who hold your same opinion on the earlier parts of Ashley's story come to regret it later on when things start to make sense. Out of any main character in the game, Ashley has the hardest shell and it actually takes a while for you to understand her. I can't say she has problems worse than slavery, but she has some very rough problems as well. Just keep playing, and try to read between the lines. Maybe even watch her room's cameras ;)
I'm also not quite sure which extreme reactions you're talking about, but this is probably hyperbolic. She has also never pulled a knife on MC in a serious way. And has never raped MC. Ashley is a broken person with many problems that get resolved. All characters in HH grow a lot from the first time you meet them.
The problem I found is that for me personally, she has become so irredeemable that I dont want to do her story. I'm aware that she looks sad on the camera's as do most of the girls as all of them have their own reasons to be where they are and most arent positive. I also understand the idea that she is clingy due to something bad happening in the past but all she does is hold up huge red flags of a sociopath so why would I want to get closer to them?
As for the more extreme issues, what I mean is she pulls a knife on Maria for getting close, only for the player character to calm Ashley down and then proceed to justify with Maria about how it isnt a big deal, brushing it off as almost a joke.
She berates, belittles and insults Lin despite supposedly not caring about elves with no way of stepping in to stop her. (I'm pretty sure that in one of those scenes, you get a friendship level up for Ashley for witnessing it but I could be wrong)
She berates, humiliates, physically changes and physically assaults the Android despite the Android trying desperately to get along with people, Ashley instead opting to forcefully change the Androids body and then proceeding to hit the Android in the face. Once again, there is pretty much no way to step in and stop her or at least tell Ashley how much of a sociopath she is.
She also proceeds to blackmail Felicity despite Felicity wanting nothing to do with Ashley, only for Ashley to then force Felicity to dress in skimpy clothing, blackmail more and force Felicity to lick her boots.
With all of this in mind, why would I in my right mind want to know her backstory? She could be the most abused person on the planet sexually and physically but she acts like such a complete sociopath that she has become irredeemable in my eyes and I am very confident there isnt a backstory in the world that would make me feel sympathy for her.
I get that as a writer, you would want everyone to see a character like Ashley from your perspective and that is completely understandable and admirable however from my personal real life experiences with people like Ashley, having no options to call her out on her actions or worse yet being forced to go along with them heavily detracts from the much more interesting stories at play, especially when she becomes involved in those other characters' stories. If all Ashley did was warn the other girls to back off, that would be fine even if there was verbal abuse but instead she opts to physically and verbally threaten and assault.
Edit: I also forgot to mention what I mean by raping the MC. Sneaking into someones room when they are asleep and trying to have sex with them would count as sexual assault as there is no consent. If I remember correctly, you cant even tell her to get out of the room at that point and have to go along with it once you wake up.
If you don't like her, that's fine. I'm not trying to convince you to like her.
She just isn't the sociopath you think she is. Ashley is a broken person and does heal. She is also not the only character with a few bigoted views at first. F&E are very classist and rude, as just one example. These are plot points that eventually become resolved, as is the nature of a story. Rags to riches, in a sense.
I agree, a lot of the characters do have bigoted views however they are at least civil to an extent. My only point was that while the other characters such as F&E may be rude, they are never threatening to anyone else and at worst attempt to stir up problems which gets shut down quickly. Ashley is the only one of the cast who actively goes out of her way to consistently threaten and assault which seems out of place from the other cast.
I understand that Ashley may be your personal favourite character as the writer and I dont wish to berate the writing as a whole as it is genuinely excellent for the rest of the cast, however it would at least be nice to have an option to call her out when she is out of order instead of being forced to go along with it.
Maybe it would be worth slowing the escalation the more friendship you have with Ashley as currently if you dont do her story but do everyone elses, everyone else is facing their demons and overcoming trauma, meanwhile Ashley is running around like a mad-woman brandishing knives and attacking people and that's at friendship level 13, which is normally the point where you understand someones backstory enough to get an idea of who they are and how to fix their issue. You also dont fix someone with those kinds of issues by going along with their defence mechanism. Heck if you could call Ashley out and it lowered her affection then that would make sense. It could also introduce a mechanic where sometimes you need to be cruel to be kind like you do with Lin and her story of becoming free. As a mechanic, it could be a puzzle of sorts and would give you as the writer more opportunities to add even more depth and approaches to each girl.
I genuinely dont mean what I am saying here as an insult as there is a lot here to love and I want to see it improve even more than it already is, however I fear that anyone who has had to deal with the aftermath of an Ashley in real life will not take kindly to her actions and may be taken out of the game's world as a whole due to there being no choice to say she is in the wrong.
What can I say? I already understand you don't like her. The points about you not liking it are clearly understood by now.
Ashley however isn't the crazy sociopath you claim she is. She isn't going out of her way to start fights (though she does engage in them early on, like you said, defense mechanism), or attacking people with knives, nor does MC go along with any of that. Friendship 13 is very early in her story. You also don't fix a broken person by being cruel to them (which is also not something you do in Lin's story?) You have a very wrong impression on her character and story, simply because you haven't played all there is yet. Others can attest to this. I hope anyone who deals with any Ashley in real life doesn't think they're just a sociopath who attacks people.
If you want to argue with the writer over the intent of a character you haven't fully experienced, this isn't a conversation I want to further engage with.
I will second Runey42's statements about Ashley. Just keep playing. Ashley quickly goes from my least favorite to one of the most amazingly written characters I've seen in a game. I know I'm a big softy, but she has several scenes that leave me in tears. In my opinion, she becomes the heart behind the whole story.
Should really continue her story before such a heavy judgement tbh, especially since you are "truly interested to see how the story will develop".

You can copy the save file first, after reinstalling the game, all you need to do is putting it in the harem hotel file
I recommend never doing this, as this has a high likely hood of breaking your save permanently on PC or Mac.
I only doing this on my cellphone.
On PC, I just download the new one at the same place where I put my old Harem Hotel's file.
Nope, your saves are stored in a different file. You can delete all of Harem Hotel and your saves will be safe in appdata.

This game can't be played on iPad as far as I'm aware. If you were to start that process, it would probably involve the PC build.
Unfortunately, what you've been told so many times is true. You will either need a PC or Android phone to be able to play Harem Hotel. There is no known way to me to install the Mac version on your iPad.

The Ipad runs on a completely different operating system from the Mac. It's like trying to put the windows version on an android tablet.

Sorry to ask this but I tried to use the joiplay in playstore but my game is always crashing, I even tried to downgrade it but it said it cannot find the game data. But I executed it Just like in the instructions :( I've also installed the ren'py plugin. Pls help I really love this game

Renpy doesn't like looping videos, they stutter and lag. But frames are seamless.

sorry for the game versions 12.2 to 13.2 even though it was played from the beginning, the game still didn't work well, making players annoyed and disappointed why your application game came out automatically, aka crashing, it's not known what causes this application error bug.

From the others translating you attempting to say you're having installation issues and the game crashes.
Assuming you installed correctly, and on Android (context helps), sounds like the standard JoiPlay problem.
Runey is not JoiPlay's dev, he is Harem Hotel's.
Not sure if the old solution works since it updated and has the same damn problem, but downgrading to 1.01.400 and disabling auto-update was the primary fix. You could also enable beta builds and use 1.01.500 specifically, as others failed to work.
So again, please don't blame Runey for someone else's program not working. Harem Hotel is not the only game run on JoiPlay, and he's not its dev anyway.

I am incredibly impressed. The amount of work that goes into this game is enormous. The number of one-time renderings alone is staggering. And all for a game that is basically offered free of charge.
The story as a whole and the connections with the characters is on such a high level that I can really only think of a very small number of games that can keep up with this. Major AAA titles included.

I can only remember that Durn guy from fancy restaurant 🤔 , maybe you can include a male drow(might help with involving drow in revolution if we ever go that path) or male high elf in problem who becomes most loyal friend and later becomes guard of bar or something . You've actually seen more men in this game than women, they've just been in black silhouette ;)
In all seriousness, there are a few reasons why I develop less men than women. First is most obvious, my audience is mostly straight men, which also includes me.
Second is that this is a porn game specifically, so creating female characters just makes the most sense.
Third is that the male character creation engine I use is not great with men. In fact, it's so bad that I've resorted to using the female character creation engine to making male elves. Here's one (slight spoilers)

I don't know why that would be happening. But it should be fixed by loading a save prior to the bug occurring. If that fails, you may need to reinstall as well.

That's an exceptionally rare bug, mine disappeared upon starting the next day.

How do you best make money in this game? I need 10K Syls to free the thee elf slaves, but I burned my Trenaro money upgrading my Hotel and Android (aka Robo C*nt).
I can pull about $100/day with rent and pinups.
The bar pulls about $200/week
Do I need to upgrade the bar so it can make more money? I dont advertise much.
At this rate, it will take me over 4hrs of repetitive gameplay to got the ~8k syls I need to continue in the story.

Money is mostly passive in this game. It's extremely rare that I hear anyone have financial issues in Harem Hotel. In most cases of feedback I've received, players end the current story at around $4k - $7k extra.
It's likely that you waited a very long time before you purchased and upgraded the bar, which becomes your main source of income later in the game.
For active sources of income, you can sell pinups, which will make in a day what your other sources of income will make in a week.
Thanks dude! Consider this for any future balancing. Maybe give more incentive to start the bar sooner... have Ellen push MC more. Just a thought. The way I like to play gated/progression games is to finish the current "tier" before moving on. So, YES, I did wait... I assumed some stories may be broken/wonky if I progressed some further than others (which still happens, Android made a cameo on another girls quest-line when she was locked in her room, "splitting" and Maria just made a cameo when she is currently... MIA, in my game (no spoilers).).
