Are you using Android to play the game? In this case you're required to manually transfer your saved for each version. But for PC and Mac, saved automatically carry over to any future update so long as you don't delete them. (On PC they're stored in appdata)
I'm playing on PC, and when I load up the game after the update there aren't any saves to load at all. I only have the option for a new game, but with over 32hrs in the game I don't want to start again!
Man I haven't played this in a year or two, wonder if my main save file I played multiple years on still works.
Edit: Yup, as I'd hoped, the saves that are taken in the bedroom are safe (which is why I always made sure to save there). But honestly it's been a year since I played, and there's only 1 save from then, and the save before that is from May 2022 lmao, so I think I'm just gonna start a new save, despite having unlocked SO much and gone through so much of the characters' stories, which honestly I might just kinda skim this time around.
v0.18.1 is a great time to restart! Especially if it's been two years since you played. I've added a lot to the beginning of the game and remade some content as well. Let me know what you think :)

Though god I kinda dread having to go through so much content again, I never should’ve stopped playing it. I really enjoyed it but thinking of how much sfw reading there was to each character (and some emotional points that I didn’t expect), and having to go through so much to get to where I was with several of the girls far along into the lewd path, but hey, if a lot has changed I might enjoy it like the first time. Not usually a fan of porn games with a lot of build-up for and wait between the actual porn scenes, but corruption is one of my top fetishes and while I prefer slightly faster-paced corruption, this game is worth it.
Is there anything noteworthy that you’ve added to the beginning that wasn’t there mid 2022? Just curious. Things to look out for, and maybe some strategies as well to get me along a bit faster than normal if you have any? I like the game but I don’t want to spend as much time as I did the first time to get to where I was.

How big are you planning to make it? Well, HH is primarily an adult visual novel, the porn is more of a side thing, though I made sure to get to the porn stuff quicker than most visual novels because I understand that some people are only interested in porn at first. But that doesn't mean the porn is neglected here, it's just not the focus of this game. There's still more here than most games of this type though!
The farmable garden is a new feature to v0.18, that's been in the works for a few years. That will allow you to grow +3 Lust crops and x3 EXP crops (those will make leveling stats faster for each character). This, and leveling the bar are great things to focus on to ensure you get the most out of your playthrough.
I don't have a set plan on how much content there will be in game, I just plan for the story to come to a fulfilling conclusion, and for the rest of the game to be fun and fleshed out as well. I care deeply for this game and the characters, so I want it to be very good by the time it's done. I would guess that the story is roughly 70% done. But this is assumed with only a destination in mind, and not the whole thing mapped out.
Yeah I definitely understood the porn wasn’t the focus a few hours in when I started, but it’s still my main driving force, and the fact that I played it for so long means it wasn’t spaced enough for me to give up, so I know I won’t be disappointed getting back into it. I did like the characters, and as I said, some of the emotional moments got me feeling with them, so even if I’m there for the porn, I’ll still enjoy the other parts. The corruption of the girls (build up and reward), while a bit slow for my tastes, is really well done, and the lewd stuff is goddamn good.

Surprisingly, I was drawn in by the lovely characters, but the story kept me playing. The porn vs storytelling ratio is incredibly well done. It isn't oversaturated by just porn which is why I always anticipate the next update of this game.
Hi, I believe I encountered a bug while unlocking the Garden Plot. It occurred as the date for Garden Plot unlocking arrived. Here's a Mega Link to the savefile and log.txt. If I may, I think that changing `game/scripts/Garden/Gardenplot.rpy:L88` from `if not plot['crop'].get('perennial') or remove_perennial:` to `if remove_perennial or not plot['crop'].get('perennial'):` will perhaps fix this.
Sure! Unfortunately there isn't much to screenshot as it's simply the error screen. This is a new save I started with version 0.18.1. When I load the savefile and press "Go to sleep" at nighttime the error triggers as soon as the day transitions. After I unpacked `garden.rpa` and edited the script as I mentioned above the error went away.
The game is good but there are continuity errors here and there, if you do things in a different order than the creators did, the stories may conflict, for example when you are siting at the table and Sylvia is watching tv, she mentions Ann being annoying even though you did not buy her yet

All events should take into account where you are with every other character and change dialogue accordingly if there is need to do so, but this is a game in development, so there is still work to be done.

I'm loving how immersive the game is becoming, I love the interactions between the girls and the protagonist, it's between them, I hope for more interactions with the elves that we bought as dates, events where they talk and meet other characters, I love seeing two characters with different personalities Maria and Outono is a perfect example or Lin and any other character, the characters are simply wonderful it may seem strange but this game didn't captivate me specifically because of the +18 scenes but rather because of how well constructed each of their personalities is , I always start a new game from the beginning, every time a new update comes out, I'm always reading each character's dialogue with the protagonist or between them, for me that's what's most special about this game, whether it's the main characters or secondary characters, all full of charisma and individuality, I'm excited to see more of the many characters who didn't get screen time, like the elf at the fast food counter, the queen of the low elves, the elf in the alley, the one who sells himself to get money (I should say I was very sad about her situation and I loved her personality, she is also sweet and polite) among others, this game has an immersive world, a dark but at the same time captivating setting, unique and creative characters that overflow with personality and charisma and Many secondary characters that make room for exciting stories, this game is a true work of art. Also using Google Translate doesn't work for everything. Taking two years of German changed the way I looked at everything. In many foreign languages EVERYTHING has a gender. That is a lot to take in. Jokes aside, (the gender thing is true though) finding someone 100% fluent for a language needed or is in demand (I have no idea how the decision process for choosing a language is done) is surely difficult. From an uneducated (referring to myself) person's point of view I used to think just take each single word, translate it, and put it back together. Thats isn't even close to how it is done. Ellen was the MC's grandfather's love of her life, not the MC. The "Sleep with" is done with characters that have an intimate relationship with the MC. Also, she has expressed not wanting a child at this point in her life. Whether or not that will change, and she grows to love the MC as it is stated she is closer in age to the MC than she was to his grandfather could be an idea in the future. Ellen's character design is very beautiful to be honest.
Excellent game, nothing to say on this side, I've been playing it for a long time and I still enjoy it... unfortunately I encounter a problem with Maria who remains stuck at relationship number 30 which prevents me from continuing the story , despite having done everything possible in the game and even having tried to modify my save there is nothing to do :( I hope that this bug will be corrected in the next patch ^^
Yes I’m on the v0.18.1 its why I dont understand why I have this bug. On my previous party I didn’t have this bug but I restart the game from the start in v0.18.0 and now in v0.18.1 I have the bug :(
By the way though, I'm not sure if I did something wrong, but I was unable to continue spanking Moon in the bar beyond a certain point. When I would try to continue, it would say that she needed some training that I think she already had been given. Maybe this was supposed to be done in a different order than what I did it (e.g., completed her training too early)? Also, I thus far have been unable to unlock the sex scene with Autumn in the cafe or invite Autumn to sleep in my bed, although I do not know if this is possible to do yet.
Moon's spankings need to say 10/10 for more options to appear when you click "Spank her". As for Autumn, she is at this moment still not able to have sex, nor do I believe she will let her virginity be taken so easily for the foreseeable future. Her religion has heavily hammered the "no vaginal sex before marriage" and while I believe the "Sleep with Autumn" option can be an innocent and very easy nonsexual addition, I already asked about it and did not receive an answer. She also currently cannot sleep with the MC yet. Speaking for Autumn's character I think maybe sleeping with the MC might be too intimate, but then again so is offering anal as a substitute for vaginal sex. However, there are moments where she says the urge to have sex is as high as it ever will be, and that it is difficult to not give in.

To clarify about Moon, however, she currently is stuck on spanking 2/10 for me, and when I try to do the 2nd spanking, it says that she first must complete a certain training, which I believe I already did. So that's why I'm wondering if this is a bug, or if maybe I did something in the wrong order, as I completed all of the potential trainings for Moon many in-game days ago.
Thanks for asking. When I previously checked, it did not show new training. However, when I just checked, the training I was told that Moon needed was an option. Perhaps I had checked too soon afterwards (needed to rest)? Whatever the case, that led to a new series of events, and I realized I had not engaged in other content due to not having raised Submissiveness or gone on a date with some characters enough. Even in its current state, this game has a lot of content, to where I have been pleasantly surprised. Loving it!
But you do not need to increase any stats, including submission or affection, in order to progress story content. If there's any confusion, please let me know
Wow, I'm impressed and decided to donate. This is one of the hottest and funnest AVNs I have ever played. Though I have enjoyed many aspects of it, my favorite aspect is the elven struggle storyline in general (centering on Lin and others), and I'd love to see more action involving Sylvia. However, the overall story is quite diverse, interesting, and humorous, making for an altogether deep and entertaining game that packs a lot of bang for one's buck. I usually like more sound effects to accompany sex scenes in AVNs, but the scenes in Harem Hotel are so varied and visually/verbally arousing that in this case I do not mind. I look forward to future updates and plan to donate more as I am able.
I loved the extra additions for .18 and am excited to see where it all goes. It would be fun to start making some of them pregnant if the player allowed it, even the Android, assuming it fit your story line. Keep up the great work!
I don't think pregnancy will happen anytime soon due to the fact that there is so much story left to tell. To do a pregnancy segue with how things are in 0.18.1 really wouldn't feel appropriate given each character's current situation. I asked about pregnancy recently and was told "We'll see when we get there." I suspect you will get the same response. As for the Android, she sort of has a child with.... herself? The Android doesn't have a womb; therefore, she cannot have children....and also because she's an android.
Pregnancy is not going to happen any time soon, many of these characters are still in danger. Pregnancy will most likely occur at the end of the story.
My point exactly. The atmosphere of 0.18.1 really turned things to 11. It doesn't feel appropriate to even suggest pregnancy to any character at this moment, spoiler especially the pregnancy hyped Ashley. That really got me in the feels.
unsure if anyone had this issue with the new update at all but I downloaded and had already finished the game. Loaded in and said "you've finished kates story" and then when i clicked it would give me an error and rolling back would do the same thing. I clicked on the door icon as i was in the lobby and it fixed it.
Did you play an unreleased beta state of any version? This is usually the cause of the random "You've finished X's story" lines. But this itself shouldn't cause any issues. Are you able to share the error report?
I've already gone past it and played a bit; I do keep getting story finished with Kate and lin but I think it's supposed to be like that as it says it'll be in V0.19. if it comes up again ill make sure to give it to you. To add no I downloaded the newest update you put out and hit continue after previously uninstalling the game and redownloading it after seeing there was an update.
and a quick question, is this a smaller update because I feel like I've already completed everything in a day because no one has an icon anymore and it says I've completed story's I only have active icons for Jin Vannesa, and moon but for the life of me can't figure out how to progress with vanessa and Jin at the moment.
Hello, to answer your question: 0.18 is a major release, and 0.18.1 is a minor release. Major releases add new content or make 'major' changes, while minor releases primarily focus on things like bug fixes.
You can tell this sort of thing based on where the numbers in version change. X.1.1, for example, has X being the release or complete version, with, often times, 1.0 being the game being completed (or near) and coming out as a release. 0.Y.1, then, would see Y as a major release. And 0.1.Z, therefore, would see Z as a minor release. Hope this explains the system, it is my understanding of it, though, so apologies if I got anything wrong.

I'm not sure why, I unistalled the game even cleaned my recycle bin clearing the game files and reinstalled this update expecting to have to play again but had my saves.
The save files are located in a different area than where the game files are actually stored, thus deleting them won't remove progress. I don't actually know where the saves are stored, as I've never looked for them - but this has been what multiple people have said and seems to hold weight.
Are you talking about the latest event in her story? She is not coded to leave at that point. The game mentions that it will act as though that event did not happen due to the in-development state of the game and to allow you to continue interacting with her.
Which character are you stuck on? And what is their level?
Most events begin at a character's door through the * Talk * options. Otherwise they typically begin in your room, or in the lobby. But if you're confused, clicking on a character's door should tell you exactly what you need to do.

These v0.X.1 patches have always been for bug fixes and polishes. This time around I added new content as well, and addressed reports of stat grinding being too hard in a unique way. v0.19, the next major update, is still in development.
So the new update's not really working I downloaded it deleted it redownloaded it and Every time I open it black screens. Coincidentally All the games I had also deleted itself from JoiPlay Maybe I'm just having a bad day Lol

To give an explanation anyways: that is an update patch file (as stated in the name). It allows you to download only the updated content and apply it to your already downloaded game, that way you won't have to download the entire game again. It'll have instructions within the downloaded files on how to apply it, too!

this game is magnificent and the story is engaging and not repeatable there are some hard part but that makes the game more engaging

Excellent game, nothing to say on this side, I've been playing it for a long time and I still enjoy it... unfortunately I encounter a problem with Maria who remains stuck at relationship number 30 which prevents me from continuing the story , despite having done everything possible in the game and even having tried to modify my save there is nothing to do :( I hope that this bug will be corrected in the next patch ^^
Are you on v0.18.1? This bug was fixed in v0.18.0
Yes I’m on the v0.18.1 its why I dont understand why I have this bug. On my previous party I didn’t have this bug but I restart the game from the start in v0.18.0 and now in v0.18.1 I have the bug :(

By the way though, I'm not sure if I did something wrong, but I was unable to continue spanking Moon in the bar beyond a certain point. When I would try to continue, it would say that she needed some training that I think she already had been given. Maybe this was supposed to be done in a different order than what I did it (e.g., completed her training too early)? Also, I thus far have been unable to unlock the sex scene with Autumn in the cafe or invite Autumn to sleep in my bed, although I do not know if this is possible to do yet.
Moon's spankings need to say 10/10 for more options to appear when you click "Spank her". As for Autumn, she is at this moment still not able to have sex, nor do I believe she will let her virginity be taken so easily for the foreseeable future. Her religion has heavily hammered the "no vaginal sex before marriage" and while I believe the "Sleep with Autumn" option can be an innocent and very easy nonsexual addition, I already asked about it and did not receive an answer. She also currently cannot sleep with the MC yet. Speaking for Autumn's character I think maybe sleeping with the MC might be too intimate, but then again so is offering anal as a substitute for vaginal sex. However, there are moments where she says the urge to have sex is as high as it ever will be, and that it is difficult to not give in.

To clarify about Moon, however, she currently is stuck on spanking 2/10 for me, and when I try to do the 2nd spanking, it says that she first must complete a certain training, which I believe I already did. So that's why I'm wondering if this is a bug, or if maybe I did something in the wrong order, as I completed all of the potential trainings for Moon many in-game days ago.
Have you done all of the training option for the bar/Moon at Ellen's desk?
Thanks for asking. When I previously checked, it did not show new training. However, when I just checked, the training I was told that Moon needed was an option. Perhaps I had checked too soon afterwards (needed to rest)? Whatever the case, that led to a new series of events, and I realized I had not engaged in other content due to not having raised Submissiveness or gone on a date with some characters enough. Even in its current state, this game has a lot of content, to where I have been pleasantly surprised. Loving it!

Wow, I'm impressed and decided to donate. This is one of the hottest and funnest AVNs I have ever played. Though I have enjoyed many aspects of it, my favorite aspect is the elven struggle storyline in general (centering on Lin and others), and I'd love to see more action involving Sylvia. However, the overall story is quite diverse, interesting, and humorous, making for an altogether deep and entertaining game that packs a lot of bang for one's buck. I usually like more sound effects to accompany sex scenes in AVNs, but the scenes in Harem Hotel are so varied and visually/verbally arousing that in this case I do not mind. I look forward to future updates and plan to donate more as I am able.

I loved the extra additions for .18 and am excited to see where it all goes. It would be fun to start making some of them pregnant if the player allowed it, even the Android, assuming it fit your story line. Keep up the great work!
I don't think pregnancy will happen anytime soon due to the fact that there is so much story left to tell. To do a pregnancy segue with how things are in 0.18.1 really wouldn't feel appropriate given each character's current situation. I asked about pregnancy recently and was told "We'll see when we get there." I suspect you will get the same response. As for the Android, she sort of has a child with.... herself? The Android doesn't have a womb; therefore, she cannot have children....and also because she's an android.

Pregnancy is not going to happen any time soon, many of these characters are still in danger. Pregnancy will most likely occur at the end of the story.

how to continue Sylvia story im at 3/5
unsure if anyone had this issue with the new update at all but I downloaded and had already finished the game. Loaded in and said "you've finished kates story" and then when i clicked it would give me an error and rolling back would do the same thing. I clicked on the door icon as i was in the lobby and it fixed it.
Did you play an unreleased beta state of any version? This is usually the cause of the random "You've finished X's story" lines. But this itself shouldn't cause any issues. Are you able to share the error report?
I've already gone past it and played a bit; I do keep getting story finished with Kate and lin but I think it's supposed to be like that as it says it'll be in V0.19. if it comes up again ill make sure to give it to you. To add no I downloaded the newest update you put out and hit continue after previously uninstalling the game and redownloading it after seeing there was an update.
and a quick question, is this a smaller update because I feel like I've already completed everything in a day because no one has an icon anymore and it says I've completed story's I only have active icons for Jin Vannesa, and moon but for the life of me can't figure out how to progress with vanessa and Jin at the moment.
Hello, to answer your question: 0.18 is a major release, and 0.18.1 is a minor release. Major releases add new content or make 'major' changes, while minor releases primarily focus on things like bug fixes.
You can tell this sort of thing based on where the numbers in version change. X.1.1, for example, has X being the release or complete version, with, often times, 1.0 being the game being completed (or near) and coming out as a release. 0.Y.1, then, would see Y as a major release. And 0.1.Z, therefore, would see Z as a minor release. Hope this explains the system, it is my understanding of it, though, so apologies if I got anything wrong.

There should be an option to jump to the most recent update, I lost all my progess.
I'm not sure why, I unistalled the game even cleaned my recycle bin clearing the game files and reinstalled this update expecting to have to play again but had my saves.
The save files are located in a different area than where the game files are actually stored, thus deleting them won't remove progress. I don't actually know where the saves are stored, as I've never looked for them - but this has been what multiple people have said and seems to hold weight.

Are you talking about the latest event in her story? She is not coded to leave at that point. The game mentions that it will act as though that event did not happen due to the in-development state of the game and to allow you to continue interacting with her.

The choice is Yours. They are the same file, just stored on different download sites.

Most events begin at a character's door through the * Talk * options. Otherwise they typically begin in your room, or in the lobby. But if you're confused, clicking on a character's door should tell you exactly what you need to do.

Have you thought adding a to fruit trees.
I have, and grapes as well, but they don't really fit well due to the layout of the plots. Maybe some dwarf trees could be planted though.
Apple trees are great irl, but I don't know if it would fit in the garden feature. Using the grapes for wine in the bar or for food would be nice.

These v0.X.1 patches have always been for bug fixes and polishes. This time around I added new content as well, and addressed reports of stat grinding being too hard in a unique way. v0.19, the next major update, is still in development.

So the new update's not really working I downloaded it deleted it redownloaded it and Every time I open it black screens. Coincidentally All the games I had also deleted itself from JoiPlay Maybe I'm just having a bad day Lol

To give an explanation anyways: that is an update patch file (as stated in the name). It allows you to download only the updated content and apply it to your already downloaded game, that way you won't have to download the entire game again. It'll have instructions within the downloaded files on how to apply it, too!
