Im having a problem im on android i downloaded the patreon version of joi play and the renpy plugin and the game didnt work so I opened the console and it immediately crashed. So i tried lucky paradox and it boots up something with the game or maybe even my hardware?
Probably there is something else you have not done that is a requirement for progressing beyond level 16. Game tends to give advice or hints when this is the case, you need to pay attention to these.
There is a walkthrough, can be found with clever use of Internet Search Engines. But using it too much spoils the game quite a lot.
This is a fantastic game, I played it what feels like three years ago now. I'm downloading it again and followed the instructions for the Android. Upon launching the game on joiplay it takes 30 seconds then crashes. I can hit either rollback or ignore right? Rollback crashes it and ignore skips to the opening animation. When the keyboard opens up for me to input name if I hit the backwards key it crashes. If I ignore it the name inputs as manager, hitting the back button crashes it.
It's not that smooth when opening it in Android to me but when you played it it's smooth😎 and normal👌. Sometimes it crashed😭 but you could fixed it by reloading/restarting 1-3 times.

I've been playing nonstop for a couple days, incredibly enjoyable. But today I've pressed some key on the keyboard and the audio just went low and it says something on the top-left corner of ctrl+M and then press V to disable self-voicing. When I press the V key I get a Windows Script Host error saying something is incorrect on the route of the game_folder/lib/windows-x86_64/say.vbs If I don't do anything, the error pops up every two seconds or so, so I'm unable to progress, even if I redownload the whole game again.
Any help or suggestions? I was on day 82 and really loving the game so far, I don't want to have to drop it because of this...
The error appears right after the opening movie, even in the main menu where you select to continue, new game, load game, etc. When I re-downloaded the game, I tried to run it with the old saves but presented the same error, so I extracted the folder again but without adding anything, just "vanilla" game, but presented same error, so it seems it's not something from the save data.

On the save folder there's a "persistent" file and that might have something to do with that? Dunno, but I'm happy I can play this game again, although I'd like to know where that data is stored in.

That is not an error message. It just informs game is reading aloud text on screen. Sound may be muted, so it is useful to know this voice thing is on.

If you download a new copy of the game it may use the same persistent data, so same fault keeps appearing.
The Ren’Py engine stores save games and persistent data under a separate folder. It’s exact location depends on the host operating system.
Windows:
%APPDATA%/RenPy/game_directory
This is usually:
C:\Documents and Settings\YOURNAME\ApplicationData\RenPy\game_directory
Where YOURNAME is your username.
My guess is some file in that directory stores the state of having pressed v or some other key you pressed that caused this fault state. Maybe if you keep the save files removing all the rest, and then install new copy and restore the save files?

For some reason even with the 0.18.2 patch installed on it my game keeps crashing, it saying it couldn't find "game/script.rpy". I think I had this issue even before the new update came out and thought I could fix it but I seriously can't lol

please add in an option to change how the person call you for every character. if you've chosen something that soudned fitting for a certain situation, you're stuck with that forever for some characters.

Sorry for the issues, I think something is fucky with joiplay. I haven't used it myself so it's hard to give advice.

The v -key is toggle for screen reading aloud -thing. Strange that it works for turning on but not turning off.
Did you try loading an older save?

I can't seem to access the 0.18v of the garden to progress jin's storyline. Any tips? I have finished everything else in the game.

If the game can’t find the main script, you may have installed the patch incorrectly

Did you press the key that hides the HUD? Press it again to bring the HUD back.
It is the “h” key on my setup. I’m not sure if the hotkey can be customized.
