I'm stuck, I can't progress anyone's story before raising androids level but in the last 40 days I've never had a way to. I've followed her around but nothing.
Currently I have the option to progress with Autumn but it prompts me to raise Lin's level but when I try that I get a prompt saying I should raise android's level.
It would be very weird for max level to be 39 since it seems there is more content with other characters that I can't access unless I raise her level plus I didn't get the message you get when max a characters story for that version.
I have bought all the slaves and Lin's story just like Autumn's prompts about Android's level.
Is there a password for the computer? I do not remember such thing in this game.
There are codes that can be entered on the computer, you can get then if you are a paying member in Patreon. Some cheat codes are mentioned in the Wiki.
You can keep the .zip file or remove it, it does not matter for the game. You do not need it after you have installed the game, unless you want to install again.
Relationship level increases as the story progresses.
There is an event when the requirements are met, and the event increases relationship level. Examine the Misc Info screen, those girls with exclamation mark have an event available. Talk to the girl at her door or try to find where she is and meet her there. Some events happen at a specific time of day. Some events trigger without you doing anything. I think a girl can not have two events in the same day, and some events cause a multi day wait before next event for that girl can happen.
The game tries to explain these things. You can read the Wiki to find out more, or just experiment.
Don’t download from third party sites. That applies to any software, those third party sites may be pirate sites or have added malware into the download.

Multiple parts, at best, means multiple zips that you will have to download, one by one in their entirety, to play the game once you are finished. PAR files, essentially, for those who are old enough to remember those, or Rxx files if you ever used RAR.
Separating the game into multiple single-character stories is simply unfeasible, partly because character stories are intertwined, which means you *will* need additional characters to continue a given character's storyline, but mostly because of the sheer amount of work it would entail.
Oh, I didn't mean separating every character, I meant like, every character goes through 15 levels per every game part. Part 1 is 1-15, part 2 is 16-30, part 3 is 31-45 and part 4 is 46-60.
to my game, it doesn't let me continue Jin. i'm speedrunning days trying to "pass enough time for the addiction". i'm past the 20 in game days after the hospital return and still nothing. I even did a new save from scratch, and still nothing
hmm, i take it you've gone everywhere at every time of day? I know Jin's route ends in the garden. Also try going into Lin's room and talking to Jin directly every day. Have you finished Lins route?
I did finish all routes, except Jin's. In the wiki is stated that for the next step "enough time should gave passed for the addiction to wear off" and that i should enter Lin's room. Been skipping some days and everyone of them i do enter Lin's to talk to Jin, but nothing happens.
All I can say is WOW. Great writing, great variety of kink, great models and scenes. Great interactions between characters, drama, humour - this one got it all. The storytelling though - IS SOMETHING ELSE. I was bawling through ashley & pixel's memories - I connected so hard with thier characters. So well put together, engaging and addictive. TOP 5 AVN
Addendum: I hadnt finished when i wrote that quick-review. Now that im up-to-date I can't give enough praise. Maria's story was soul crushing and Lin's was incredible. I can't wait to see what comes next.
Runey, a minor suggestion toward the game page here: around where you say that pregnancy is a planned theme, it might help, at least to some small amount, if you add a note or something saying that that content won't be added until around the end of the game.
Might stop a handful of people from asking when it'll be added, as they'll be able to just spot the information above.
I addressed that very thing in my comment. The key being that it might prevent a handful of people from needing to ask. In no way am I expecting it to prevent asking entirely, as some people just refuse to look for information.
This web page is already very long. The itch system maybe does not allow page of contents or other ways to organize it, and there may be many issues to add.
Another way might be adding Frequently Asked Questions to the Wiki. If the wiki does get FAQ, it should be divided in non-spoiler and may contain spoilers sections.
Discord has FAQ channel, but it seems to contain only installation and update information.

For one, I'm sure not everyone is even aware of the wiki, and if they are there's no telling whether they've been there before. I've been following the game for years and I've not once visited the wiki. Secondly, with it being on the main page, likely directly by the 'planned theme' it'd be right near where people would see that pregnancy is a planned theme; as I'm sure there are a number of people that read through the page, see that, and then ask about when it'll be added (or if it's already been added).
Just to reiterate, I do think it'd be a grand idea to add a comment about it in the FAQ on the wiki, but also to the direct game page here - where people will be able to find it a touch more directly. Even if it won't prevent many people, it just needs to help some.
Started playing this game about 3 to 4 years ago just wanted to play it for sexual whatever. Then I got real into the writing once the android started going somewhere. Thanks for the good times runey. I appreciate you taking time to actually put effort in your creation although its a little stunted do to the nature of a porn game. No hate I mean you just have to write around the sex which is fun in itself and sometimes adds to the writing.
There really is a pervasive misunderstanding about the game and its classification. It really isn't a porn game, by nature, it's an adult visual novel with a high amount of sexual elements. If anything, it's a bit of a minor difference... but still a difference.
I was trying the most recent PC version of this game and about halfway through it stopped and the message that showed up in the Download list was 4426675-archive-default.xml and beneath it, it says couldn't download - no permission
Are you sure there is free space on the device for the download? It is 12 GBytes.
That message seems like coming from your PC, not a problem with the file server you download from. So examine your PC and the directory where the download goes.

Harem Hotel takes a lot of people by surprise in a great way. For me I saw screenshots and was like I'll give it a try, then saw a tag for the game "slave" and thought "that's odd, I am sure they mean BDSM" and just downloaded and played it. First few minutes I am beside myself, "it wasn't a typo". Thought about stopping but am so glad I didn't. This game makes you feel the emotions and struggles the girls have. Runey is a master storyteller.

I have a question, I'm not sure if this is a bug or not, but when you're at the winter cabin with Felicity, Emma, and Ashley, when you're all naked in the hot springs talking, Felicity and Emma mention a time that they were having a massage with Maria. They talk about how it was dark and they were naked and one of them (either Felicity or Emma that is) accidentally slipped a finger inside Maria. Only, this scene didn't happen for me. Is this a scene in the game and I missed it, or is it a bug that they're saying this when it hasn't happened yet, or is it something that happened behind the scenes to the characters and the player just doesn't get to see?
I should add I'm playing version 0.18.2, I haven't updated the game in awhile so I don't know if you've already addressed this in a more recent release if there has been one

There is no smaller version for Android, but I think there used to be several versions ago a lower quality images version for Android, which was smaller but since even that got bigger than 4 GB even that could no longer be installed on Android as normal Android APK.
Honestly, if the game was split into multiple parts on Android, I would accept it. All it would need is once you start the "part 2" you input the trait number amount each girl was at in the previous part. Once you put in the main hotel girl's stats, you can hit start, enter your character's name, and begin part 2. And so on if needed. It can be three 4GB files or four 3GB files.
Well Runey, here is an update about my status. I have been made a official tester for the dev I told you about. I currently oversee the android version of the game. Anytime a issue comes up involving the android version, I have to try to prove or disprove the bug being reported. I thought it would be stressful and tiresome, but I really feel happy doing it, partially because I was already reporting most android bugs to the dev. I even got a official title in the discord channel saying Chief Android Tester
I love the work Runey does. I recently posted that I had been talking to different game devs about how I enjoy the games they made. Only two responded back. Through these interactions I gained the courage to offer my ideas to them. Runey didn't seem interested but still talked to me and the other dev actually loved my ideas. Runey was the first game dev to respond back to me. Re-energized I kept helping the other dev and now take on the mobile/android bug section for them. So yes, it does relate to Runey.
I'm aware it was brought up before, as with that time I am equally as confused at your mentioning it here, under this game. If it were in a more generalized chat locale, like, say, Discord, then that'd be totally understandable. Saying it relates to Runey because he replied to you is rather a stretch.

I have submitted ideas, but it sounds like Runey has a general idea of how the game should go. I added ideas to the Dev Diary #10 when we were asked to share ideas. And I did stress that Autumn and "Sleep in the MC's bed" at night and still not have sex. It would be a huge "I trust you" for MC to show Autumn that he won't do anything pervy. It also allows Autumn to say if she wants to take it further. Right now, I have a view for Harem Hotel, but it is at the moment with eyes that are looking for positives for every character. A great story has challenges for the main characters to overcome. Learning about everything that has happened in Harem Hotel and where the last update left off at had me feeling... well if you have played it then you know what I mean.
I do agree that not every character should be purely about sex, I like Autumn's character for that reason, shes the more innocent and wants to wait until its serious type which I'm all for, adds variety to the game and character personalities. I have played all of the latest update so I'm aware, that is usually my biggest disappointment are cliffhangers. I think Runey already has the entire plot panned out for the most part, but likes to hear input from the community to tweak things around here and there, so I also give my two cents from time to time.

Is there a proofreader in the team? The original English has typos. Some dialogues seem to me rather confusing, I find it hard to understand what is actually meant. So a native English speaker would be a welcome addition to the team to do the proofreading.
Maybe Renpy does not support proofreading well? I would assume translators would spot the typos and confusing text. When I have translated to my native language, I have given feedback to the original author for when I spot typos or find the text ambiguous or badly worded. It would help the translators if the original text is proofread before translation begins.
I have an question, sorry if I missed it somewhere in the game, but is Lin´s backstory gonna be continued? I know people love Ashley´s story and yes it actually is very touching but what about the other characters? Will they receive more (im talking hours of gameplay) screen time?, as always thank you for this making this game happen and im already very excited for the next updates to come, its like i dont want it to stop getting updates. thank you RuneyGames!!!

You do not say what version of Harem Hotel you are playing.
In version 0.17.x there is a bug that sometimes prevents Maria from getting past level 30. That bug is fixed in 0.18.x version.
Then it should work. I did not see this problem.
Altering nia_alert00 should not be needed in version 0.18.x, maybe manipulating its value breaks things?
I don't know, but I didn't change the data until I finished all the characters

You could tell for example is this a fresh install of 0.18.s, or 0.17 upgraded to 0.18.

Is it my problem? At first it was normal Chinese, and then it was English-
Language can be changed in the Options-menu. Choose Chinese there.

You can update when the new version is released. It can take time, though.

They talk about things that happened in the past. That time was before the story in the game starts.
There has not been one yet. The 0.19 version is only beta, although it is available on Patreon for supporters.

The Android version is 12 Gigabytes.
There is no smaller version for Android, but I think there used to be several versions ago a lower quality images version for Android, which was smaller but since even that got bigger than 4 GB even that could no longer be installed on Android as normal Android APK.
Honestly, if the game was split into multiple parts on Android, I would accept it. All it would need is once you start the "part 2" you input the trait number amount each girl was at in the previous part. Once you put in the main hotel girl's stats, you can hit start, enter your character's name, and begin part 2. And so on if needed. It can be three 4GB files or four 3GB files.
Well Runey, here is an update about my status. I have been made a official tester for the dev I told you about. I currently oversee the android version of the game. Anytime a issue comes up involving the android version, I have to try to prove or disprove the bug being reported. I thought it would be stressful and tiresome, but I really feel happy doing it, partially because I was already reporting most android bugs to the dev. I even got a official title in the discord channel saying Chief Android Tester

I love the work Runey does. I recently posted that I had been talking to different game devs about how I enjoy the games they made. Only two responded back. Through these interactions I gained the courage to offer my ideas to them. Runey didn't seem interested but still talked to me and the other dev actually loved my ideas. Runey was the first game dev to respond back to me. Re-energized I kept helping the other dev and now take on the mobile/android bug section for them. So yes, it does relate to Runey.
I'm aware it was brought up before, as with that time I am equally as confused at your mentioning it here, under this game. If it were in a more generalized chat locale, like, say, Discord, then that'd be totally understandable. Saying it relates to Runey because he replied to you is rather a stretch.

I have submitted ideas, but it sounds like Runey has a general idea of how the game should go. I added ideas to the Dev Diary #10 when we were asked to share ideas. And I did stress that Autumn and "Sleep in the MC's bed" at night and still not have sex. It would be a huge "I trust you" for MC to show Autumn that he won't do anything pervy. It also allows Autumn to say if she wants to take it further. Right now, I have a view for Harem Hotel, but it is at the moment with eyes that are looking for positives for every character. A great story has challenges for the main characters to overcome. Learning about everything that has happened in Harem Hotel and where the last update left off at had me feeling... well if you have played it then you know what I mean.
I do agree that not every character should be purely about sex, I like Autumn's character for that reason, shes the more innocent and wants to wait until its serious type which I'm all for, adds variety to the game and character personalities. I have played all of the latest update so I'm aware, that is usually my biggest disappointment are cliffhangers. I think Runey already has the entire plot panned out for the most part, but likes to hear input from the community to tweak things around here and there, so I also give my two cents from time to time.

Yes, a translation takes a very long time so the team will still need help.
Is there a proofreader in the team? The original English has typos. Some dialogues seem to me rather confusing, I find it hard to understand what is actually meant. So a native English speaker would be a welcome addition to the team to do the proofreading.
Maybe Renpy does not support proofreading well? I would assume translators would spot the typos and confusing text. When I have translated to my native language, I have given feedback to the original author for when I spot typos or find the text ambiguous or badly worded. It would help the translators if the original text is proofread before translation begins.

I have an question, sorry if I missed it somewhere in the game, but is Lin´s backstory gonna be continued? I know people love Ashley´s story and yes it actually is very touching but what about the other characters? Will they receive more (im talking hours of gameplay) screen time?, as always thank you for this making this game happen and im already very excited for the next updates to come, its like i dont want it to stop getting updates. thank you RuneyGames!!!
Yes! All main characters get at least 1 new story event every update unless something gets in the way of that.

Need more of Ashley's story in my life. I cried when she saw her younger self... Like I'm trying to be as non spoiler-y while conveying the part I mean... so if I fail then I am sorry for that... but like I don't know if it struck something in me or what, but I wanted to hug Ashley so bad...
