On Android, since I updated the game all of my saves load an error. I also get a different error at the start of the day. I tried to do a clean install and just move the save files over, but I have the same errors. This is the start of day error:

You can continue new version from where you left the old, it is not necessary to start a new game from the beginning. Although there might new content in the beginning of the game.
Ya ty for the reply, i kinda find out how the files work out, you can't have more clear than that, im used to have a readme.txt but that was neat and simple.

There's obviously a lot to like about this game, but I wanted to extend my appreciation for a very minor visual gag that always gets a chuckle out of me: the various methods used to obscure the MC's face. He's always got his back to the camera, or he's slightly out of frame, or one of the girls conveniently holds up a plastic cup while he's in the background, or some other contrivance. I enjoy it every time.
This is precisely why I wanted to call it out. There's clearly been effort devoted to playing around with camera angles and character positions to make sure we never get an unobstructed view of the guy, while still allowing for a variety of shots that aren't simply over the MC's shoulder. It's a fun bit of extra polish I wouldn't expect most devs to bother with, so I wanted to recognize it.
Slight bit confused but wanna make sure I'm doing it correctly, So to install it on Android (I got RAR) do I go to the harem hotel 32 . exe, then open it with JOI or do I do something else (I opened file with RAR, and wasn't prompted to unpack anything but I do see the I presume game file (the 32.exe)

After i used the patch to update my game from 18.2 to 19, i found that i can not interact with anything else in the lobby. And i can not go to the 2nd and 3nd floor to intetact with the girls. Do you know what is the problem on it?

I ignored this error, and after a moment, Lin's storyline started, where a queen threatened the hero with a gun. The next error wasn't about that room, but about some garden (and it continued like that throughout the entire 1.19 storyline). Every time the time of day changed, the "garden" error appeared, which I ignored, and somehow the game worked, but these errors also scared me.
I am struggling to understand what step 3 means in the (How to play on Android) Could anyone help me? I have downloaded and unpacked but don't know what to do after that.
Your download speed is a result of your internet speed and the amount of people trying to download at the same time. If you're able, I recommend using the patch.

After the update, I launched the game. The game started (window: "ring ring"), but I accidentally clicked "back." An error occurred, and now every time I try to launch the game, I get an error.
I always read the instructions. I downloaded it as before. I moved the files to where they were supposed to be and overwrote them. The error appears after clicking "continue" and "load save."
Although at the beginning there was no error (there was a normal screen), until I accidentally clicked "back" on the options bar (e.g. skip, auto, save)
Exception occured when i try to access the beach. Not sure why im getting this. Never had this happen in any of the old versions. money codes dont work, laggy text speed. not sure whats going on but this is really rough. i dont even want to waste my time on this. game is over 80 hours long and im encountering issues on a new save. this is sad, i love this game but this is the worst update ive played so far
Minor issue, when click in the first evening on the desk in the lobby I get an error that 'sun' isn't defined.
Quick look reveals it get defined/assigned for the first time when/after sleeping by calling check_day (sleepstuff).
So I guess you should call check_day at end of prologue, before starting sandbox mode. Or use default statement to make sure all days of the week exist/defined all the time.
Found another issue:
Trying to visit the beach from the city (exploring), but get syntax error. The following line (script.rpy 16462):
if explore_beach == 0 and explore1 = True:
Can't assign in condition, should probably be 'explore1 == True' or just 'explore1' or removed completely. Since the menu choice already checked that 'explore1' is True :)
I am very sorry to disturb you, I am a Chinese player, I just downloaded the upgrade patch today to update the game, because I have no time to play, I've only found one problem so far. All the characters' names don't display properly. Like this→☒☒☒, I tried to download the full 0.19 version again. But the problem has not been solved, I do not know whether someone has given you feedback on this problem, or just my personal exception.

When you speak to them in their respective rooms, you should give them an option to go somewhere with them, and have in parentheses (Exhibition)
I get an error when trying to visit the beach for the first time. If I click ignore, it says end of content. Any plans on fixing this soon?

You seem to offer this exact same answer to many questions. It may not be suitable for all of those situations.
This user stumbled on a known bug, there is syntax error in code. There is fix and it will be in bug fix release v0.19.1.
Pressing ignore works, though. It lets the beach event continue.
When I hit Ignore on that error screen the game tells me I'm done with the Beach content, on a new playthrough.

You do not say on what platform you play.
You can continue new version from where you left the old, it is not necessary to start a new game from the beginning. Although there might new content in the beginning of the game.

You should show the exact error message, copy and paste the text or take screenshot.
Saves made with old version do work on v0.19, unless you played with codes or mods.
If the latest save causes issues, try the save before that. Or some of the older ones.
Did you solve the issues you had previously? Make sure you do not use a save you made when the game was not working properly.
It sounds like you might have tried messing with your saves. That will likely break them.
To continue your save on an update, click the "continue" button. No other steps required.

I have thought it is just sloppy camera work by the developer, not noticing some of the characters are obscured by objects.
Everything you see is something I want you to see (unless it's a mistake). It's also important not to make anything look too perfect.

Try Internet Search Engines, look for how to install renpy games on Android.
There are also Youtube videos that show how it goes.

You should copy text or take screenshot, that should show what it is about.

I would check the patch is applied correctly. Did you copy all the .rpa files to the game directory? I missed one of them and game acted strangely.

That definitely sounds like a failed install of some sort. You might not need to redownload the full game, but it should fix your issue.

I installed the previous update (0.18)
it worked again
so I installed it again (0.19)
it started working, but at the end of the day it gave an error because it couldn't find the room (youroomdark1)
I launched the game again
right after the beauty pageant, I tested whether the room would work in the evening and... it also gave an error (you can see the room for a moment)
Those look like some of the known bugs.
Maybe wait for v0.19.1 bug fix release, and then try again.

Continue playing. Eventually stats are high enough.
Game does show what actions raise which stat. Visit all places at all times of day.

Seems Itch App does not allow downloading from third party sites.
This game is 13 Gigabytes, maybe such huge files are not allowed on Itch, so it has to be external site.

Did you verify you have copied all the necessary files form the update to the game folder?
At what point in launching the game does that error appear?
If you suspect the save is broken, try another save. Game has automatic saves, go left in the saved games screen.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I think this occurs because of the new fonts. Try changing your fonts to "Normalized" in the options menu.
I do not see those fancy fonts for character names. I saw screenshot, so I know what they should look like.
I have tried in Options both ways for the font setting.
I play on Linux, Ubuntu 24.4. Patched v0.18.2 to v0.19 and started a new game.
Switching the language back to English and then switching back to Chinese will resolve the issue.
