How to fix a problem with an error in which it says File "game/script.rpy", line 27370, in <module> Name error: name 'complete19' is not defined? I'm playing on macOS, and I've finished Lin's story for version 19.1. I consistently receive this message after every action, which annoys me. Pressing the ignore function or reloading doesn't help for me.

Have you played any beta version of Harem Hotel? Those often mess the game and continuing with released version makes strange errors.

Is there any more info in file log,txt, it should be in game directory. Can you provide the full error text, cut and paste or take screenshot?

I haven't modified the game data in any way; I just played and occasionally encountered errors with undefined scripts, which I ignored and continued playing. However, after completing Lin's story, an error screen started appearing after almost every interaction, such as moving between floors or locations. I hope this screen and text can help with identifying the problem.

Where did you get that version?

You are not playing a released version. Install latest released version v0.19.1, links to downloads are above on this page.

It may be the save files you have break the game with v0.19.1, but it should work better than the beta test you have now. You may have to start a new game to get rid of all messy features.

I tried to download the game from the provided link, but the file was downloading so slowly, less than 1MB per second (even though the internet in Hong Kong is quite fast) that I decided to download it from a different source where the download speed was faster

Runey you honestly did a beautiful job on this game. I am so attached to these characters that I almost feel like I'm grieving them now that I'm done with it lol

I actually cried through a couple Lin scenes and Ashley scenes... literal goosebumps at the peak of the last Lin scene. I cannot wait for the update. I'm almost mad at myself for not waiting to play until development was finished lol

Harem Hotel and Eternum are making my expectations way too high for these other games 😂

Also, I'm extremely impressed that there's like 70 hours of content (for me, anyway) and we're not even done yet.

Yes. As far as I'm aware, it won't affect any of the saves across any of the platforms. Someone may correct me if I'm wrong about one of the platforms.

On Android uninstalling the game removes also save files.

On Linux, Mac and Windows the save files have a copy separate from the game installation directory. Installing new game to a new directory works and game can continue where old version left.

To be sure, do take a backup of the save files to some safe storage. Discord FAQ channel shows save file location for each platform.

**Spoiler Warning**

Been a big fan for years, and just completed all of the content. Android's by far being my favorite character. However, her story, I can't lie, it feels. Strange. The forced re-design is awkward, and obviously not everyone is gonna like very story, but it feels bad. The game does an amazing job going over so many mental health issues in incredibly realistic and helpful ways, but with her it feels off. It's hard to describe, but parts of me didn't want her story to continue the way it did, and it made me hesitant to click on her. I want to reinforce, I love love LOVE this game, the work you put in is simply astounding. Compared to the other stories though, it feels like I somehow made a wrong choice, that this is a bad end or something. Again, it's a unique story, it's not for everyone, but the whole existentialism feels misplaced, almost. It genuinely felt uncomfortable at some points. Maybe it's just me, maybe I simply don't see the big picture, but it's hard to enjoy a story of a character that gets rewritten multiple times in such a short span. It feels especially weird that from 2 was made to blend in more with humans, but now that it's no longer her goal, she still remains that way? It's off-putting in a way.

I don't want this to come off as completely negative though, I am a massive fan of this entire project, and I think my only real gameplay-complaint is the lack of a hint system. It feels weird to be forced to use the wiki, when on a character's page, it could just mention "try visiting them during the evening" or even just "enter the hot spring at noon." It's fun to discover stuff, but having the option for a hint would be huge, especially for missed dialogue. I only have Jin at level 6 and Moon at 3, and without the wiki, I never would've gotten them there.

I'm no game reviewer or maker, just a guy that has gone through the struggles many of the girls have. I don't play many visual novels, or even harem games for that matter. But this game is something truly special. I hope my words bring you encouragement and a perspective, rather than doubt or discouragement. I hope my words on Android's story make sense, and I don't want it to make you change your end goals. I just think it could use some fine-tuning to make it as exceptional as all the others. I wish I could give more than just words and small amount of money, but I do hope it helps encourage you to make this game everything you want and more. I will be happily and patiently awaiting anything and everything you put out, from the rest of HH, to any potential future endeavors. This game has permanently changed me for the better, and I wish you nothing but the absolute best.

I have read on Discord that the latest Joiplay does not work with this game, since it is currently not made with the latest Renpy. The Joiplay and plugin version must be as instructed.

On Discord the #help channel may be able to offer more advice, I have not played on Android so I do not know more.

There are many lines of dialogue and code in the bowling tournament, and tens of thousands in Maria's events. Please be more specific when reporting errors.

These questions will help pin down the error: Is this a dialogue bug? Do you get an error screen? Is this a translation issue? Did I make a grammar mistake? Which event did this happen in? Where in the event did this happen? I do not know what you're referring to. Pictures help.

I found the game to be quite good and interesting. The characters' stories are very diverse and well-crafted, which is appreciated considering the large number of characters.

However, there's one thing I'd like to recommend: the music. I feel like it doesn't quite fit the important moments. In scenes of tension, sadness, or suspense, the music doesn't convey what it should, and that somewhat breaks the atmosphere and immersion in the story.

For example, when the elf queen, Jia, kidnaps the protagonist, it's hard to take the scene seriously with soothing jazz music playing in the background. The same is true when Ashley gets depressed or when Maria is discovered to be a half-elf.

Simply adjusting the soundtrack a bit to fit the context of each moment would greatly improve the game. It would make you connect more with the story and what the characters are going through.

This is just a suggestion; I quite liked the story. 👍

On PC and Mac, there are no extra steps required to continue your save. Simply install the update on the same computer and click continue. If you're on android though, it's trickier.

This sometimes happens when the player saves in a part of the game that has been updated, but it is easily fixed. Just click Rollback until it works, or try an autosave.

At first you wrote the error was “game file error”. The error message in the screenshot you posted is nothing like that.

Try installing again, following the instructions carefully.

If it still fails, search for Youtube video on how to install Renpy games on Android. Maybe you did some step wrong.

Dive deeper into smoking fetish. There are many games that tip-toe around it, but never fully engage. The SF community is quite large, larger than you might think. Currently, we truly only have one developer, Motkeyz who has fully captured, and provided games with an in depth SF concept. Timestamps, and Alt Worlds are amazing, and currently owning this genre/fetish. Both of these games also provide the option to exclude SF content. If SF content is not of interest to a player, the story is unaffected if they toggle it off. Motkeyz has truly done an amazing job with these games so far, and the SF community is clamoring for more! In no way am I asking or expecting for you to "reinvent the wheel", so to say. The current marketplace is so barren of in depth SF content, that anything that even brushes the surface draws our attention, and appreciation.

With that being said, your game is fantastic! It is truly a delight to play, so thank you! Regardless, if you add more SF content or not, you have provided everyone with an amazing game, and I look forward to what is in store for us in the future!

Hi, I've discovered a bug. Every time I play the game, it resets the text speed. I set it to instant, play the game, save and come back and it's back to half. Love the game, btw, I've been playing since the 0.17 release.

Came back after so long. I absolutely looove this game. It says I own the game but, the only thing is, it wouldn't let me run the game so, I had to reinstall but now, it's saying, "this title is hosted on an incompatible third-party website". -Buy Houses and asign 1-2 elfs to each (¿Lin and Jin's parents?)
-Rent houses, with elfs included as Staff and since they are your's and not your tenant's they are not to be harmed or face legal consecuences.
-More money => More houses =>More elfs => More money.

Create a gated comunity where your elfs are free to roam.

Then open a casino. Get even richer. Then buy a big ahh farm and put your elfs to work it for even more money to buy more elfs.

Amazing game but I think im running into a glitch. I bought Ashley's stiletos and she isnt saying anything about them. Also my character says "I should really buy the stiletos" or something like that sometimes.

First played this game at the end of 2020, Version 0.11, right on my Samsung note20 Ultra. Then, downloaded Version 0.16 sometime at the end of 2022 using the same phone. Between the two versions, I've spent hundreds of hours. I ended up having to restart when I upgraded the version, losing what must have been an easy 100 hrs (I think I was somewhere around day 140). On Version 0.16, I'm on day 239 and I think I'm close to completing the content that was released at that time. Not sure if time spent is saved anywhere in the files. Can't seem to find anything like that. Would be nice if we had a counter.

Anyway, reason for the introduction is because I'd like to leave a fair review, sadly, it'll be for the 0.16 Version of the game. I'll do my utmost not to share spoilers.

I mean, I'm blown away, in more ways than one. I'm 34... I used to play hentai flash games when flash used to be a thing. I've played Japanese hentai games, especially when I was young. I saw this game and figured "Sure, why not. The characters look decent enough." I was a Marine during both versions of the game and traveled a lot. Tons of hotels and moving around. This was meant to be a fun little phone game to help me release stress. My own sexual tendencies resonate well with the main character's tastes. But nope. This author had other plans.

The beginning of the game was great, yeah? Manipulate, abuse your power, tons of lust, etc. But at some point, it went from lust to love. An actual in-depth story as we progressed more and more and more. The foundation was there from the beginning, but who knew the author was deep? I mean, it's a hentai game that's reminiscent of the flash game era. I don't believe I can actually leave a proper review for this game. There is too much to say about it.

I guess if I should mention anything, it's the insane amount of congruentsy this game has. Sure there are some hiccups and a few scenes that can and will end up out of order, but I convinced myself that Leon (my character name) is being told his story along with stories of the others while in his deathbed by Luna (Our Android, whom I also call Android 18). In this way, whatever hiccups happen, the story doesn't break in any meaningful way. For all that is Holy, don't actually implement this into the story. I'm already mindfucked as it is. I just want to free the fucking elves.

After what I had to experience with Maria? Fuck you man. When I progressed in her story, there was a nagging fear that kept growing. Especially when her friend moved in. And as we got closer and closer to the climax of her story, I started freaking the fuck out. When we went to the place to do the thing, I was audibly saying no. "No. Nono. This isn't going where I think it is, is it? No. Stop. Fuck! FUCK! I CANT DO ANYTHING! NOOO! FUCK! NO MARIA!!!!"

I fucking lost it. Everyone's story is fairly spot on and deep. Autumn... uhm, she's fine... she's studying for the competition, that's where I'm currently at with her. But, her story, such as when we went to grandma's, kinda had me in a bore. In was so hard to want to read the text. I mean, this is coming from the guy that had his dick in his hand while learning elvish history with Maria, and elvish religion with Lin&Autumn.

I love a lot of the side characters, but I've got a special place for Kate. I adore her and her disability. Weirdly enough, I wish there was more development and or story for her. I also like Moon a ton. Love how she fits so well in the story, especially with her engineering. The congruentsy is off the charts for this game.

Now, do I have a favorite among the main Heroins? I think the author did such a great job that it is difficult to chose. Abviously I adore Luna (android). But her story took such an insane turn of events. Being near the end of version 0.16, I'm having such a hard time choosing. Again, each story is fairly well flushed out. Some tweaks could be made though.

I guess my favorite may be Maria, but it would have been sealed if we could have changed something for her. This is an unreasonable request, but I'll make it anyway. I believe all of her sex scenes (or at least most of them) should change to reflect the reveal. The immersion is broken for me when we get her back. The sex/intimacy does not reflect her current trauma. I can't be intimate with her at this point because it's so disconnected, even when she's with other girls. I love her, don't get me wrong, but the reveal and the event is so insane and contrasting, that having sex with her without it reflecting any of it reminds me this is a game. This also goes for Luna (android) after her insane turn of event, but nowhere near as contrasting as it is for Maria.

All in all, I love this game. I really appreciate the effort you put in. Will be donating soon.

I will eventually revise this review. I was speaking almost entirely emotionally with zero thought about the flow. I just really wanted to share my immediate thoughts.

You have a brilliantly creative mind. The story-telling is unbelievably good. I went into this game expecting the usual clichés and such, but got so much more.
