Of all the RenPy VNs I've played this is really by far my favourite one, as solid as they come! Easily a 4.5/5 game!
As for the last 0.5 star, I was wondering if you had any plans of making a female MC "version" or "mod" for the game?
While I'm really glad that I got to name them and it helped me squint and imagine just someone with a strap-on in the scenes involving the MC, I would give this game a glowing 5/5 review and share it to all my friends if there was further MC customization. 💜

I've had a dry spell with VN games lately, but this one's really good! Well structured story, pleasant design, clean loops in animations, lots to love. And not to mention the fact it's still being worked on despite having so much content already, bravo creator!
I’ve played this through a few times now. The first time through I was really upset and confused because one story line progressed much faster than the others (I didn’t know that was possible at the time) so it was very confusing. But now that I’ve been through it multiple times – including just creating multiple saves so I could try different things – I have some notes.
The MC isn’t particularly sympathetic. He does many things that I wouldn’t and doesn’t do things that I would have.
- Lin and Android are fantastic. I love them both, consider them family and protecting them would have been the top priority. Wish I could reassure Lin earlier in the game that she was safe and wasn’t going to get sold (Absolutely have ways this could have happened pretty easily.)
- I don’t like Kali – didn’t like her from the start and would have largely ignored her as long as she paid the rent, but I wouldn’t have bought her stuff and if she messed with (Android) without talking to me first I absolutely would have kicked her out of the building.
- I do like Ashley – don’t particularly want to sleep with her, definitely don’t want to have kids with her but I would have let her stay and protected her.
- Maria ... Maria is great but she wouldn’t have lasted long enough for me to find that out. I wouldn’t have gone along with some of her schemes – like giving her the master key. I’m also not a voyeur ... I mean I don’t mind watching but wouldn’t do it without consent (this comes up several times). And I wouldn’t have agreed to be on Maria’s stream and honestly when she put Lin on her stream without talking to me I would have kicked her out ... so I never would have found out how cool she is. As I said, my priority is protecting Lin and Android (and Ashley) and Maria being hot wouldn’t have saved her.
- Felicity, Emma and Autumn – are all pretty awful in the beginning and I would have either ignored them or booted them out ... Autumn for sure would have been evicted.
I wouldn't have even considered doing the sex contest thing - I wouldn't have even considered responding to that letter in any way. I also wouldn’t have bought Sylvia ... she’s pretty awful all around. I would have helped Nia all I could (At one point in one of the games I could have handed her $20,000 but there's no way to do that) but honestly my goal wouldn’t be overthrowing the government. I likely would have taken Lin and gone to find an island somewhere probably with Android and Ashley as well. I would have signed the hotel over to Ellen and told Nia that she could send runaway elves to the island – set up some kind of a system with the hotel – Ellen – the sanctuary – the boat and our island so I could help the elves but still achieve my top priority of keeping my family safe and out of the crossfire.
As things stand though I don’t think the MC is very nice, or very smart and it’s impacting my enjoyment of the game/novel.

It should be noted that Kali's specialty is coding and androids specifically, so she knows what she's doing and her intentions were always pure. That said, she's not perfect and can't know everything that will happen to something so unique as Android.
Regarding Maria and Lin, a big aspect of MC and this hotel is giving the characters independence and their own voice. MC isn't a controlling person.
Regarding Felicity, Emma, and Autumn, a big aspect of this story is character growth and development. They're meant to start off in worse places and grow into great people.
When all is said and done, I think this game just isn't for you. You seem to have misunderstood a lot of what I've been doing with these characters and the story, and there's not much I can or should do to change your opinion. I would recommend finding something that better suits your taste.
@Funky_Wookie being a person that reads 150+ novels a year, you should be able to understand "character arcs" and how through a sequence of events characters evolve changing the readers perception of them. Also, being such a reading connoisseur, you are surely aware content is created for different people to consume, Nothing is made for everyone. From your complaints I can see you are eager to create your own VN and dazzle us with your significant story writing skills. I await your first VN.
Hi! So, I finished the game when it was in 0.16 or 0.17. And it was brilliant. I liked most of it. Looking at the elves and the parallels to real history and politics was pretty neat as well, as I think a lot of devs assert their political opinions in a much more backhanded way, where it's pretty out in the open here. Helps that I lean that way, too. Pretty much the only content-related complaint I have is that I'd like more queer themes, but that's not for everyone.
Basically, thank you for making this gem. Bloody brilliant.
Still incredible, but also how tf do I get Maria to level 31, all the guides just say to either buy Nia or reach certain levels with certain girls, but none of those have worked.
There are many harem games out there. None even comes close to this one. The character creation beats any other game of any kind. The game is really large so you will not get through it very fast. There is no rush. Every minute should be fun. I laughed and cried through this game every time I played it and that has been a lot. The one hint I can give is learn to manage your money wisely.

great game, honestly! I have been a fan of your work for a year or so now, and am happy to see this happening! if I had to pick my least favorite part of the game, it would be the models, they could use a texture improvement, but I know that is a lot of work/expensive so probably not going to happen, love your work.
Edit: I was also not expecting to have philosophical questions in a porn game, but I am all here for it! I enjoy how even though the NSFW content is abundant, it is also not part of the main story (for the most part), I was not expecting the story to be this high quality, or for it to be free! this definitely seems like a 10-15$ game to me. (I would price it higher but again, the models.) if you have the funding/skillset upscaling the textures would do wonders! I also am a very philosophical person so the ethics of elves and androids in Syl'anar has me HOOKED, I need more of Kali's story!

I thought this was just going to be another simple tiddy game, but I could not have been more wrong. These characters are all super well thought and their stories are truly captivating, you are an excellent writer! The game where I quit halfway through the game and said I would start again when it was completed in the future. It's a game that hasn't been finished for almost 6 years and I'm still waiting for it to be finished.
I haven't played hotel harem for a long time, it might fail
The first thing you have to do is look for the save file from the harem hotel game, usually it is located in a file called "Harem_Hotel"
Second, after opening the file, you will immediately see a file called "saves". If you see it, copy the file and place it wherever you like.
Third, if you have downloaded the update, you can immediately overwrite the old file, but if you are afraid something will be damaged, you can delete the old file first and then extract the update file.
Fourth, if you play from Joiplay, then re-create the apk from within Joiplay. Before you re-create the apk in Joiplay, first copy the file called "saves" into the file you extracted earlier.
