Runey, can the next update have some happiness for all of the characters? I wasn't ready for most of v0.18. I want Ashley, Lin, Emma and Felicity to get a lot of hugs and kisses. Also, when it comes to Ashley as a character, I know she is supposed to battle adversity and overcome shadows, but her negative moments in the game are real gut punches. I really want Ashley to have her "happily ever after". Random question: why was DreamScape VR removed and could we see the DreamScape VR's content (Ashley's Wedding, Thy Mother, and Ashley's Power Trip) return in the gallery menu just to watch old content?
Happy endings will certainly happen, but when certain characters are in the middle of a story arc, it wouldn't be smart to completely change the tone. But rest assured, there will be progress and happiness.
As for the Dreamscape, that was fan made content I created. I stopped offering people the ability to pay me to create their stories so I could focus on the main story.
The fact that Ashley has a moment when Felicity is taken that you see her in a way be a mother bear that has lost their cub shows extreme growth to her former bullies. That was really well done Runey. I do hate that Emma and Felicity's last two events are complete opposites of each other (a relaxing event followed by a stressful event).
I do want to thank you Runey for actively responding to as many questions, comments, issues/bugs, thoughts/ideas, and other miscellaneous posts on here. It's heartwarming to see a game dev so active with their community.
trying to start felicity and emma quest for their lvl 26 quest(they are at lvl 25 for relationship) but it keeps saying i have to raise ashleys yet i have already went past relationship 36 for ashley.....
Hey Runey i have found a unexpected error on the renovation in the garden plot, on the day of completion as so as the day loads the game crashes. I Double checked by loading previous saves and starting the renovation on both earlier and later days and this till happens on completion.

Am trying to get v0.18.1 to run on Android, but have had no success. JoiPlay 1.20.530, Ren'Py 7.4.11 (have tried all the way up to 8.2.3) On v0.18.1 and 0.17.2 I start getting crashes on a new game at "Couldn't find file 'images/Hotel.webp'"

It looks like SolidExplorer on android does not properly unzip all content from the archive (tried multiple times). Unzipped with a different tool and it seems to be working.
This is my favorite one so far, well done! You have an incredible talent, and the incorporation of the game's themes reminds me of Sabaton's story style (I know people reading this will be blasting me for such a comparison) in terms of "attention to details".

I'm on day 20 on the newest version and it keeps on giving me a screen that says exception has occured when i try to sleep to go to day 21, what should i do to fix this? (I play on window)
When you click on downloads in itch theres a smaller patch that goes from .17 to .18.1 (should be the bottom one) download that and in joiplay hold the game and there should be like a patch button or something and then select the file thay you download
This game looks like it has great potential, but I can't figure it out. The same boring routine happens over and over again, day after day with no progress. I knock on the girls door, say how are you, and then leave. There's very little else it allows me to do. I can go into town, but again it seems like I'm just going through the motions, nothing fun happens. Also, I'm trying to figure out how to make money. Ellen says to sell pinups, but doesn't share what a pinup is, or how to go about selling one. I don't mean to complain. I'm sure the issue is the player and not the game. I just need some very plain instructions I guess. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
Hello! I think you may have missed the tips that occur when you start the game. To begin story events, they mainly begin at their door with " *Talk* " options, especially at the beginning of the game. Asking "How are you?" will open up dialogue on how they feel about what happened recently in their story. It should also be noted that stats have no influence over the story and are for additional side content. Story events pop up on a cooldown, and the game will tell you if you need to do anything extra. Pinups are an option that appears after you click on a character in their room, it may be greyed out for you early in the story though. Clicking on it will tell you what you need to unlock it. While pinups are a decent way to make money, there are also Deliveries from Bernie's Bowling Bar. Building the garden, and building a bar of your own are the best ways to make money.

As it states in the beginning of the game, affection and all other stats have nothing to do with a character's level and are only used to unlock additional side content.
A guide is also available on the wiki. To get to level 17, you must buy the dungeon
It was play tested by me, I still have not gotten this error but some do. Once we figured out how to reproduce the error, it was fixed. So it will be patched in v0.18.2
We do playtesting, but some issues slip through, it happens in all games.
The bug is already fixed and will be in the next patch, which includes multiple fixes.
We release single patches due to the game’s large size to avoid frequent downloads for players.

All events in the gallery unlock as you progress the game. They are directly tied to the level of a character, so I would guess you're still very very early in the game.
Man, oh man. Has to be some of the best writing I've seen in a H-game, if not the best. Haven't played in a while but I love the new update. Ashley is letting all the demons out and I will hold her hand while she does.
This game makes me feel all kinds of emotions. Came for the horny but stayed for the awesome stories (and Ashley). One can tell a lot of love went into this game! I could write a three page paper on how much I dig all the content but hopefully a sincere thank you will suffice for now.
I encountered bug in 0.18.1 after Garden clean-up.
Since I'm very curious, I take a look at the source code. Hope you don't mind this. I believe the problem is that plot['crop'] is initialized as None, so the 'reset_plot' function will always fail at first. This completely blocked Garden related stuff in 0.18.1. A small None test would fix this. I've made a temporary fix for myself and it works fine.
I'm sure they're worth it, the care and effort invested in this work is enormous, this game is among my top 5 favorite visual novels whenever I have time or an update is released, I'm revisiting it, I love all the main characters and seminars, but Autumn isn't , I don't know why. But I just don't care about her.
Speaking like that, it seems like I hate her, but what I found strange is the way her relationship with the protagonist develops, as Autumn is a more religious and somewhat innocent character, I thought the development would be more romantic, more... .
a non-existent disease straight from the evil mind of a lovely Robor (laughs) don't question it, just believe it.
I'm joking, now seriously, I love this game, Autumn is not a bad character, on the contrary, she is very good, not to mention that I die laughing at some situations involving her, and I think her friendship with Maria is very beautiful, but I still don't find her as captivating as the other characters.
my opinion will probably change in the future, in the first versions of the game I didn't like Ashley today she is my second favorite character right behind Lin.
One of the reasons I love this game is because there is "No NTR or cheating" as it says in bold above in included themes. This game is interesting with more than the 28 included themes. With how each girl is in love with the MC and love each other like a family, adding NTR would be devastating and end my love for the game. Not trying to "yuck your yum" but if NTR is added in games it should be an option you can turn on and off. Plus, many girls depend on the MC to even have a "home", if NTR becomes a thing then the option to kick them from the hotel should be one as well.
For me, there is only one occasion when NTR should be placed in a game: to cause disgust or anger by placing it solely as a narrative device, if that feature has no logic or connection to the story being played, e.g. . . . . . . . . . . (Disgust) a girl with only material interest in the protagonist there is no love is nothing more than a gold digger making her infertility become deplorable and disgusting with the aim of making the player as unpleasant as possible [this scenario does not fit in this game since all the characters are truly in love with the protagonist] (Anger) one of the protagonist's girls is forced into this act, without pleasure, without consent, just the purest cruelty to make the player feel more revolted and outraged by the cruelty of the human race [in this case I see that it is possible in the case of elves but there are laws that protect them so this scenario kind of becomes something very rare but what about the alley elf since she is forced to sell the body for your master wins money, in this scenario it is possible but this elf has no relationship with the protagonist so this scenario collapses again] in the end NTR in this game has a minimal application there are very few cases where it would fit, anyway I don't like NTR because it causes negative feelings and increases my hatred for the genre and if there wasn't the protagonist's revenge against the people in question, I wouldn't even touch the game with NTR involved.
With the story of HH and the connection between the MC and every girl (Ellen and side girls included) and how you get an occasional attack from the outside public, the MC has enough to deal with. A broken heart shouldn't be another issue. Besides I can't see NTR working for Lin, Android, or Ashley. In all of Lin's 300+ year life only two masters have been consistently nice and only you have shown love towards her. I don't think she would risk being sold ending her first loving relationship for a "fling". Android would literally shoot her offender. Ashley's attachment to the MC is at first yandere levels of commitment, even though she has calmed down I can't see her doing this without stabbing her offender to death. NTR in my opinion shouldn't exist. A genre meant to ruin a loving relationship is beyond me. Why people like being cucked is a real mind fuck. Also, if NTR is being caused by blackmail it's the same as rape.
I couldn't agree with you more, the way the relationships were formed yesterday the girls are sentimentally linked to the protagonist makes it practically impossible to place this genre, not to mention that what I like most about this game is the sentimental charge that characters like Lin and Ashley carry , who are my two favorite characters, adding NTR would destroy the beauty of these relationships, it's like I said, this genre only serves to cause disgust, discomfort and anger all kinds of negative feelings, I guarantee you get excited about another guy getting your girl ...that's not healthy, go to a psychologist, please.
Are you downloading a version 0.18 save to use on 0.18.1 because more than likely it won't work. Different version saves usually don't work with different version games. Summertime Saga (not trying to promote) has a cool feature where older version game saves are grayed out on loading screens

Will there be an Android version of the game released in the future? I mean, you don't need a plug-in to play on Android. Please, I really need it.
.apk has a limit of 2GB. The original size of Harem Hotel is over 100GB and has been optimized down to 12GB. So it is a requirement to use Joiplay.
The plug in "joiplay" is free on patreon. Just go to it and download it. You might need an additional plug in but the game should tell you which one

How do i open the console in this game? cant find any info anywhere
The console is disabled, it shouldn’t be accessible for players, as it is a developer tool.

Same error at every garden upgrade. Simply clicking ignore seemingly has no consequence.
This is a known issue, and it has already been addressed, it will be fixed on the next patch.

The original filesize is over 100GB, what you see now is the optimized size. This game is just that big.

I like this game since 1 year ago, maybe I hope they can add NTR feature to make it more interesting
One of the reasons I love this game is because there is "No NTR or cheating" as it says in bold above in included themes. This game is interesting with more than the 28 included themes. With how each girl is in love with the MC and love each other like a family, adding NTR would be devastating and end my love for the game. Not trying to "yuck your yum" but if NTR is added in games it should be an option you can turn on and off. Plus, many girls depend on the MC to even have a "home", if NTR becomes a thing then the option to kick them from the hotel should be one as well.
For me, there is only one occasion when NTR should be placed in a game: to cause disgust or anger by placing it solely as a narrative device, if that feature has no logic or connection to the story being played, e.g. . . . . . . . . . . (Disgust) a girl with only material interest in the protagonist there is no love is nothing more than a gold digger making her infertility become deplorable and disgusting with the aim of making the player as unpleasant as possible [this scenario does not fit in this game since all the characters are truly in love with the protagonist] (Anger) one of the protagonist's girls is forced into this act, without pleasure, without consent, just the purest cruelty to make the player feel more revolted and outraged by the cruelty of the human race [in this case I see that it is possible in the case of elves but there are laws that protect them so this scenario kind of becomes something very rare but what about the alley elf since she is forced to sell the body for your master wins money, in this scenario it is possible but this elf has no relationship with the protagonist so this scenario collapses again] in the end NTR in this game has a minimal application there are very few cases where it would fit, anyway I don't like NTR because it causes negative feelings and increases my hatred for the genre and if there wasn't the protagonist's revenge against the people in question, I wouldn't even touch the game with NTR involved.
With the story of HH and the connection between the MC and every girl (Ellen and side girls included) and how you get an occasional attack from the outside public, the MC has enough to deal with. A broken heart shouldn't be another issue. Besides I can't see NTR working for Lin, Android, or Ashley. In all of Lin's 300+ year life only two masters have been consistently nice and only you have shown love towards her. I don't think she would risk being sold ending her first loving relationship for a "fling". Android would literally shoot her offender. Ashley's attachment to the MC is at first yandere levels of commitment, even though she has calmed down I can't see her doing this without stabbing her offender to death. NTR in my opinion shouldn't exist. A genre meant to ruin a loving relationship is beyond me. Why people like being cucked is a real mind fuck. Also, if NTR is being caused by blackmail it's the same as rape.
I couldn't agree with you more, the way the relationships were formed yesterday the girls are sentimentally linked to the protagonist makes it practically impossible to place this genre, not to mention that what I like most about this game is the sentimental charge that characters like Lin and Ashley carry , who are my two favorite characters, adding NTR would destroy the beauty of these relationships, it's like I said, this genre only serves to cause disgust, discomfort and anger all kinds of negative feelings, I guarantee you get excited about another guy getting your girl ...that's not healthy, go to a psychologist, please.

Are you downloading a version 0.18 save to use on 0.18.1 because more than likely it won't work. Different version saves usually don't work with different version games. Summertime Saga (not trying to promote) has a cool feature where older version game saves are grayed out on loading screens
Just rollback until it works, that happens when you've saved in an awkward spot and try to load it in a new update
