In general I like this game, but the protagonist definitely has a personality I do not. Such as, I would never allow someone to push me down or act like they have dominated me, especially when they have been nothing but rude such as with Felicity. I also would not have tolerated Autumn and her constant judgement. It often times feels like the protagonist is more of a simp than anything else.
However the game does have a solid and well developed story that has been interesting to play through. There are times where the stories conflict each other which leads to some confusion (specifically I was at the place where "Android" secluded herself in her room, but while returning from the Alosi Queen she was out fighting the fairies, but still not able to be contacted.)
There are a fair amount of choice options in the game, but it feels like there should be more. Many times the character just blindly goes with what is being said instead of giving you an option of what you would rather do.
I like that the stories intertwine, but I would not have spoken to some of those characters unless I had to which was a major bummer. I wish you could progress the stories you like while ignoring the ones you don't.
I like that the game has an economy, and that it is reasonable, though I didn't learn how to use some of them until three quarters through the game when it didn't matter so much anymore.
I would like for the wait time feature to be a menu instead that asks how long you would like to wait instead of only skipping to the next time slot. As you get later into the content sometimes you just want to skip a whole day or two without the tedium of button pushing and waiting.
I know it probably sounds like I have more gripes than anything else, but I promise you that is how you know I care about something.

oh, than I should probably also tell you that you can finish Felicity's story before Ashley so you can know who Stoneface is, and then suddenly have no idea who he is. Also in Maria's Story you can discover her secret, but be lagging behind in Hana's and Autumn's story so they act as if it never happened. there are a few others but I would have to play through again to remember.
Also, I think it would be cool if the brothel you helped open had a questline to gain control of and add more passive revenue for the hotel. I would also like to see Ellen as a main character instead of a side character, there is a lot of history and story there, the fact that she lives there, and her involvement in everything else just makes the decision for her to be on the side seem odd. I would also like to see upgrades for the hotel that allow you to change the atmosphere and theme for the hotel. these are of course suggestions, but if you want people to feel like it is there hotel this would be a good option yes?
Also many games like this have options in the beginning that ask people about the fetishes that they like and don't like which gives people the option to see content they want, while not seeing things they don't, I highly recommend something like that for this game as well.
But that is just it, the MC is us but also isn't us to that degree. From what I've seen, the MC has given the girls a lot of great advice when needed, and really want's what is best for them. He doesn't play favorites but is willing to fight for them with all he has got. A great example is Ashley, she came to the hotel with almost nothing. She can't afford to stay at the hotel, but the MC lets her stay because he loves her. At one point she thought the MC would leave her if he knew the real Ashley but he still let her stay and still loves her.
My only major gripe with this game is that the protagonist doesn't speak much at all when I feel he should be. It kind of makes some scenes feel like a one-sided conversation where the girls are rambling to themselves.
You make a good point. My goal is to make the player character a fill in for you, the player. Giving him a strong personality could contradict with the player's personality, or maybe he could say something the player wouldn't agree with. The protagonists are actually the girls, not the player, so these things are deliberate. However in the newest events I've decided to give him more of a voice. But he'll always be "the silent type" so that the player can fill the PC's shoes as much as possible.
well, see i did download it, but since i'm on android i cant really fully downloaded, i was trying to figure out how to get it extracted for like 3 hours but no matter what i did i couldn't figure it out, i used the guide you posted but it didn't help me enough ,i couldn't figure it out where i needed to put things or anything like that. just wanna try the game man
Having some issues recently, When I press escape or rmb the screen for saves, load, options etc does not appear. Pressing said buttons only hides the ui.the back button on the bottom left also just sends me to the city for some reason

Nothing in game costs anything close to that amount haha, but you should be upgrading the hotel to get passive income. Talk to Ellen about upgrades. The farm is a good place to start, and the bar will increase your passive income a lot.
That's fine, farming isn't a requirement. Buying the bar early is a very smart idea though, as it will gain you passive income as you're playing through the game.
Alternatively, there are cheat codes available on patreon.

The size limit for android apk's is about 4gb I think, that might be the issue which is why we have to play the PC version of HH on android through joiplay app

My guess is next version is released before September, but that is only based on the v0.18 having been released in August 2024 so update yearly. I do not know the developers schedule or plans.
The last two updates have been abnormally slow. It's too early to estimate a release date for v0.19, so I would recommend not waiting for v0.19 yet and playing now.

Playing on Linux, Ubuntu 24.04.2, game version v0.18.2. I noticed today if I press the D-key, game shows “Reloading script ..”, stays there for a while and then shows exception. Game seems wonky after that. I tried it twice (first time by accident), I believe this happens every time D is pressed.
The traceback is very long, 599 lines so I paste only beginning and end here. I have the complete file stored, so I can provide it if needed.
The RenPy hotkeys lists I found did not show action for D. I’ll try more careful typing, and not touch D anymore.

I tried this (out of curiosity) but was unable to replicate. That being said, are setups have some major differences. I'm on linux Mint 22 (based off of ubuntu 24.04) game version v0.18.0 (I didn't want to upgrade with that large file for just seeds which I was already producing.) Also, I'm on kernel 6.11, not 6.08.
With the differences, this doesn't mean a heck of a lot other than its not a widespread issue. Hitting the D key did absolutely nothing for me.
tbh, I was hoping to wait for 0.19 before I download the 13GB file. (when it gets finished.) I'll try again if I have some time to make the upgrade to v0.18.2
Hey man i just got done playing the game at its 100% as of 0.18.2 And i wanted to give my review of the game, Now first and foremost this is a beautiful game, i installed it because i was being a pig and wanted to jerk off but i only did this once, What kept me going was the story, this game genuinely has a beautiful story and it was making me on the edge of my seat, i was playing just for the story 100% i was literally skipping the porn scenes of a porn game For the story, And to be honest i dont think ive ever wanted to play a porn game other than to jerkoff, Seriously creator of this game you are an amazing and creative person A true genius And you have all my respect i am really sad that i am at the end of this story and now all i can think about is wanting more, And also, You've earned yourself a new patreon Subscriber under the dedicator rank! keep this up!

I'd love to be so enthusiastic, too. But there are a couple of points which kept me from finishing the story. First, in reply to the original post, I wish there would be more effort in at least some scenes, like you do for the story.
Mostly though the game mechanics need an update. I clicked myself into the garden like 1-3 times every day and only once there was a story in it. Why you can leave the shower by clicking again but in the washing room you have to move the mouse to a back-arrow? Why no alarm if there is actually anything to see on camera? I could go on. In short: Reduce, reduce, reduce the click-orgy that only frustrates.
Then the cool characters, tempting sci-fi story, places and relationships can be enjoyed much better. It would really be worth it.
Which scenes do you feel need more effort put into them? I'm remaking the oldest scenes in every update to maintain the same quality along the whole game.
As the player goes through the game, they will hopefully catch on to the mechanics. Only characters within the stats screen will get events ( as well as events in the Explore content ). This means that the garden itself does not have events, except for when you upgrade it, it will play a short scene when it's done. Jin is the only character with events in the farm. When a character has a "!" next to their name in the stats screen, it means an event is ready for them.
I will work on removing the ability to go back from the shower with a right click, thank you for bringing it to my attention.
I'm not sure what you mean by an alarm for the camera. An "alarm" in HH is being woken up to sex by one of the characters and is not tied to the camera.
I try to reduce the amount you need to click as much as possible, but I also want to maintain the feeling of living in a hotel and walking around in it as much as a visual novel can allow. If you've noticed any cases of unnecessary clicking, please let me know.

About the camera (on the computer): It never shows anything that you want to watch. About the scenes: Theyre to short is maybe the point. Maybe theyre not erotic enough. Maybe add more images in between. Maybe enjoy the girls more... I don't know.
Btw, the bar girl pretty fast has a !-sign next to her but needs (lots of) development of the camgirl first before the story of her can continue.

If you'd like to transfer your save data between hard drives, you can find Harem Hotel's save data in %appdata%. Otherwise there are cheat codes available to patrons.
There's an app called "Spark - Ren'Py Novels" on iOS which lets you play windows/linux/android renpy games. It costs $8 and although I haven't personally tried running Harem Hotel with it, I have run other renpy games from itch successfully. All you need to do is download the zip for the windows game into you iphone or ipads downloads, and then use the app to play it. It's pretty easy to use, and the app's developer is active on discord for support.
Someone (username 1vsr66xnd0) recently got in his feelings about being downvoted in these comments and created an army of accounts to downvote myself and tank this game's ratings. I'd like to ask anyone willing to please report his accounts and counteract his damage.
Not long just installed your game, enjoying it so far! I happened to see this users comments before I even started playing the game and instantly reported his comments, down voted them and upvoted yours. Their behaviour is disgraceful and childish... seems like a bit of a knobhead, really.

Seems you have downloaded the .zip file successfully.
Have you unpacked the zip archive to some directory on your Windows 11 computer?
A screenshot of the situation would clarify what is going on, like Runey suggested. Show directory listing, the File Explorer screen of the directory where the zip file is and of the directory where files unpacked from the zip went.
Is the free space on the disk? The unpacked files are about 13 Gbytes.
That screenshot is not very useful, it does not show the requested information.
The full name of leftmost folder is not shown, but I assume it is harem-hotel-win.zip, the zip file you downloaded.
The other folder is harem-hotel-win, a bit strange since the folder extracted from the zip should be Harem_Hotel-v0.18.2-pc. Is the harem-hotel-win an empty folder? Did you create it yourself?
Anyway, if you double click the zip folder, the extraction should start and folder Harem_Hotel-v0.18.2-pc is created, possibly not on Desktop folder but the extracting window should show where it is extracted to. Try to find the Harem_Hotel-v0.18.2-pc folder, there you should have the game file that you can click to start the game.
If this does not help, consider asking a windows expert to examine you computer, maybe something unexpected is going on.
Or try a Youtube video, try searching for example “download and install game from itch.io”.

Are you playing the 0.18.2 version of the game?
Have you upgraded the hotel with growable garden? Have you visited the garden plot behind the garden?

RenPy documentation tells saves use Python pickle system to save the game state. So my guess is cross platform saves should work.

Playing on Linux, Ubuntu 24.04.2, game version v0.18.2. I noticed today if I press the D-key, game shows “Reloading script ..”, stays there for a while and then shows exception. Game seems wonky after that. I tried it twice (first time by accident), I believe this happens every time D is pressed.
The traceback is very long, 599 lines so I paste only beginning and end here. I have the complete file stored, so I can provide it if needed.
The RenPy hotkeys lists I found did not show action for D. I’ll try more careful typing, and not touch D anymore.

I tried this (out of curiosity) but was unable to replicate. That being said, are setups have some major differences. I'm on linux Mint 22 (based off of ubuntu 24.04) game version v0.18.0 (I didn't want to upgrade with that large file for just seeds which I was already producing.) Also, I'm on kernel 6.11, not 6.08.
With the differences, this doesn't mean a heck of a lot other than its not a widespread issue. Hitting the D key did absolutely nothing for me.
tbh, I was hoping to wait for 0.19 before I download the 13GB file. (when it gets finished.) I'll try again if I have some time to make the upgrade to v0.18.2
Hey man i just got done playing the game at its 100% as of 0.18.2 And i wanted to give my review of the game, Now first and foremost this is a beautiful game, i installed it because i was being a pig and wanted to jerk off but i only did this once, What kept me going was the story, this game genuinely has a beautiful story and it was making me on the edge of my seat, i was playing just for the story 100% i was literally skipping the porn scenes of a porn game For the story, And to be honest i dont think ive ever wanted to play a porn game other than to jerkoff, Seriously creator of this game you are an amazing and creative person A true genius And you have all my respect i am really sad that i am at the end of this story and now all i can think about is wanting more, And also, You've earned yourself a new patreon Subscriber under the dedicator rank! keep this up!

Yeah i'd love to! to be honest the only reason i created this account was to leave this comment to show my apreciation for your work, im not very familiar with how itch.io works as a whole so it didnt process through my mind that i could do that, ill jump to it!
I'd love to be so enthusiastic, too. But there are a couple of points which kept me from finishing the story. First, in reply to the original post, I wish there would be more effort in at least some scenes, like you do for the story.
Mostly though the game mechanics need an update. I clicked myself into the garden like 1-3 times every day and only once there was a story in it. Why you can leave the shower by clicking again but in the washing room you have to move the mouse to a back-arrow? Why no alarm if there is actually anything to see on camera? I could go on. In short: Reduce, reduce, reduce the click-orgy that only frustrates.
Then the cool characters, tempting sci-fi story, places and relationships can be enjoyed much better. It would really be worth it.
Which scenes do you feel need more effort put into them? I'm remaking the oldest scenes in every update to maintain the same quality along the whole game.
As the player goes through the game, they will hopefully catch on to the mechanics. Only characters within the stats screen will get events ( as well as events in the Explore content ). This means that the garden itself does not have events, except for when you upgrade it, it will play a short scene when it's done. Jin is the only character with events in the farm. When a character has a "!" next to their name in the stats screen, it means an event is ready for them.
I will work on removing the ability to go back from the shower with a right click, thank you for bringing it to my attention.
I'm not sure what you mean by an alarm for the camera. An "alarm" in HH is being woken up to sex by one of the characters and is not tied to the camera.
I try to reduce the amount you need to click as much as possible, but I also want to maintain the feeling of living in a hotel and walking around in it as much as a visual novel can allow. If you've noticed any cases of unnecessary clicking, please let me know.

About the camera (on the computer): It never shows anything that you want to watch. About the scenes: Theyre to short is maybe the point. Maybe theyre not erotic enough. Maybe add more images in between. Maybe enjoy the girls more... I don't know.
Btw, the bar girl pretty fast has a !-sign next to her but needs (lots of) development of the camgirl first before the story of her can continue.

If you'd like to transfer your save data between hard drives, you can find Harem Hotel's save data in %appdata%. Otherwise there are cheat codes available to patrons.

I'm sure it's possible to port it over somehow, but apple would never allow NSFW content on the app store.
There's an app called "Spark - Ren'Py Novels" on iOS which lets you play windows/linux/android renpy games. It costs $8 and although I haven't personally tried running Harem Hotel with it, I have run other renpy games from itch successfully. All you need to do is download the zip for the windows game into you iphone or ipads downloads, and then use the app to play it. It's pretty easy to use, and the app's developer is active on discord for support.

sorry i didnt mean loading screen. The thing is, it just wont open/start when i want to open it from the files. Even if i try to open it as administrator, just nothing happens.

Have you unpacked the zip archive to some directory on your Windows 11 computer?
A screenshot of the situation would clarify what is going on, like Runey suggested. Show directory listing, the File Explorer screen of the directory where the zip file is and of the directory where files unpacked from the zip went.
Is the free space on the disk? The unpacked files are about 13 Gbytes.

That screenshot is not very useful, it does not show the requested information.
The full name of leftmost folder is not shown, but I assume it is harem-hotel-win.zip, the zip file you downloaded.
The other folder is harem-hotel-win, a bit strange since the folder extracted from the zip should be Harem_Hotel-v0.18.2-pc. Is the harem-hotel-win an empty folder? Did you create it yourself?
Anyway, if you double click the zip folder, the extraction should start and folder Harem_Hotel-v0.18.2-pc is created, possibly not on Desktop folder but the extracting window should show where it is extracted to. Try to find the Harem_Hotel-v0.18.2-pc folder, there you should have the game file that you can click to start the game.
If this does not help, consider asking a windows expert to examine you computer, maybe something unexpected is going on.
Or try a Youtube video, try searching for example “download and install game from itch.io”.
