Since its not in the game folder itself, you can just delete it in its entirety and download the new one, and they will automatically be there. No extra steps
I recommend against doing this! This could cause errors. Your saves on PC/Mac are already therewhen you attempt to load your saves. Simply install the new version, launch it, and load your save. It's already there with no extra steps necessary.

Friendship is basically the "character story" stat. Go to Lin's door and choose "talk" when she isn't in the kitchen and it isn't Wednesday. I'll note now that some events require you find the character in other rooms (or in 1 or 2 cases for Lin, talk to Ellen).
You need to talk to Ellen whilst she is at the reception desk to get the next step of Lin's story. This had me stumped for several in game weeks because I had already bought everything possible from Ellen and at the moment there does not seem to be any other reason to really talk to her most of the time! :P
After the final scene for Kali at the University before saying that the friendship has increased, a screen with the codes below was shown (it says that ignoring it will cause possible bugs or smth in the future):

Anyone know what triggers Sylvia's slave route event? I've reached the end of the main story and have most if not all misc character events done, but seem to never get the option in her conversation.
Hey, so I updated the game to v0.10 and loaded up my save, but there doesn't seem to be a way to save anymore (all those button prompts that come in ren'py just don't exist anymore). I'm playing on android.
I didn't do a fresh install of the game but updated it so I tried to do a clean install this time which didn't seem to work either.
The save from when I last played the game was located in the player's room, at the menu when it asks you where you want to go.
It seems that when you press the "back" button and click the computer in your room, a bug occurs where the ren'py prompts just disappear. It doesn't seem to happen when you do anything else.
So I worked out the problem, I just wanted to report the bug.
Since the new update is out I am replay it from the start, and man, Ashley's story is just wayway deeper than when I first played it, like when she first time drink alcohol, she said: I don't know what dad saw in them. when first time I pass this sentence like nothing, now it hits like a car
Why does it say that one or more of my girls have a friendship level that's too high? It tells me to not use cheats for friendship level but I didn't use any cheat except for the money cheat. Then it tells me to revert my friendship level. How do you do this? Am I stuck permanently?
Thanks for the new update. Started from the beginning again to see what you've reworked. The only problem I had was the downloading. The file is so large that for those of us who just have the basic MEGA package with its 5 gig max per day, it stops at 4.9 gig and you have to wait for a few hours for it to complete.
Thanks, Runey, you're one of the best! BTW my other favorites are Killer and Braindrop. Too bad that Braindrop doesn't put his game in itch.io. I think he's a little overwhelmed by all the attention he's getting as it is.
This is hands-down one of my favourite of these types of games. Whilst not my favourite - I kinda prefer games where you can actively do things rather than lots of passive clicking - definately in top three :) Looking forward to more.
That said, gotta admit I found the latest update a bit dull. The new Felicity/Emma scenes were awesome, especially since I think it's about time they and Ash spent some time together, and the Jin event was oddly interesting. But beyond that, not a lot seemed to happen in the other events, apart from dropping 4k (which, as a side note, do you actually get charged the debt? I didn't see anything, so either I had more than enough and didn't notice it automatically getting paid, or there's no obvious way to pay it back yet).
[MILD SPOILER ALERT (Sorry, dunno if there's even a way to black this out on here)}
The Lin event continuation was definately long, but it was kinda... idk. Not what I was expecting. Was obvious you'd get found at some point, but the way it played out was just a bit 'bleh' to me. Fight was interesting, but forced concessions to the queen seemed a bit lame. Was kinda expecting some member of the guard who disagreed with her to help you out instead, or maybe Nia to 'give in' only to help you escape.
Don't get me wrong, I adore most of Lin's gameplay so far, and she's defiantely among my favourites, but this particular event was just lacking for me. The end back at hotel was amusing, but didn't do enough to save event for me.

All in all, combined with other girls' lack of new real events, can't say was all that interested in this update. Sorry to sound so critical, but as a writer myself, I kinda think if people don't put out there opinions, good or bad, can't consider said other opinions.
That said, still looking forward to whenever the next update comes :) Great work overall.
Question I downloaded the newest 0.10apk so it updated my last one but when you check the game details it still says I have no new objectives in the game and says its version 0.8. Do you know why or if theres a fix for it

I downloaded from mega..it showed v 0.8 but actually it's not. Install the game and press ' About ' then u will see that the game is actually v 0.10 . File size is 1.97 Gb . After u download it's 2.1 GB
Really looking to re-starting and playing through from the beginning once more! Looks like a lot of work, and I have enjoyed all that has been done in the past, and will likely be just as pleased as punch by the new content as well as the touch-ups! I think it comes out today. The patreon lovers tier gets it 12 days early (pre-release 1) and the supporter tier gets it 7 days early (pre-release 2), and both of those were 12 and 7 days before the 25th... that or its all one big coincidence
Great game. "Harem Hotel" (HH) is not just a silly sex game. Well, it is that too Sometimes, but all great games have there , but each person hs a umique personality and a background. Almost all the girls in the game struggle with fear, insecurities, self estee,, hopes and dreams of a better life and / or job and other
It really makes the characters more realistic, although the harem and each girl , the main character with an increasung number of beautiful, sexy and slutty girls. E 8 women to love you andwould be impossie , or close too it. It get that in itself it IS part of the scenen be fun, but it would be nice if there were a little more realism, and focus a but more on the science fiction parts of the game. The game can at times be slightly monotome, but not for too long. So overall I'd give ypir ha,e a big 8 out of 10, maybe even a 9 when everything is completed.
You could do this profeeionally, maybe 5 dollars ? Just a thought, I've not played many 18+ games, but to those his is the best I have seen! "Harem Hotel" is better than a lot of "regular" games. Hello, I need help on progressing Lin's story AND her lust.
Her friendship is at 22. All stats aside from footjob and lustful have been raised to the highest limit (10+ or 20+). She has all traits except for Foot Fetish and Lustful. I am on day 178. I have purchased both Jin and the Sanctuary. I have completed the mainline story (max friendship?) with Kali, Android, and Maria. I am 15+ friendship on Ashley, Emma/Felicity, and Autumn.
Please help me figure out what flag I have not tripped to progress Lin's story. Her lust has been 0/4 stars for 80ish days, with constant messages that Lin's lust is unbearable for at least half of my playthrough. By contrast, Kali is 4/4 Lust and has the Lustful trait.
I just want to say, a game called "Harem Hotel" has absolutely no right to be this fucking amazing. I absolutely love everything about it, the story, characters, and, of course, the sex. Keep up the amazing work!

There is indeed a new event. At 3/4 for Kate's events, click on your door after a few days.

Is there a way to transfer your save to the newest version?

Copy and paste the saves folder (which is in the "game" folder) from the old version to the new version.

Not sure if this helps, but I have been using an Amazon Fire HD10 to play and my saves were available as soon as I installed the update.

You need to talk to Ellen whilst she is at the reception desk to get the next step of Lin's story. This had me stumped for several in game weeks because I had already bought everything possible from Ellen and at the moment there does not seem to be any other reason to really talk to her most of the time! :P

Anyone know what triggers Sylvia's slave route event? I've reached the end of the main story and have most if not all misc character events done, but seem to never get the option in her conversation.

Hey, so I updated the game to v0.10 and loaded up my save, but there doesn't seem to be a way to save anymore (all those button prompts that come in ren'py just don't exist anymore). I'm playing on android.

Your game sounds corrupted, I recommend reinstalling.
I didn't do a fresh install of the game but updated it so I tried to do a clean install this time which didn't seem to work either.
The save from when I last played the game was located in the player's room, at the menu when it asks you where you want to go.
It seems that when you press the "back" button and click the computer in your room, a bug occurs where the ren'py prompts just disappear. It doesn't seem to happen when you do anything else.
So I worked out the problem, I just wanted to report the bug.
Since the new update is out I am replay it from the start, and man, Ashley's story is just wayway deeper than when I first played it, like when she first time drink alcohol, she said: I don't know what dad saw in them. when first time I pass this sentence like nothing, now it hits like a car

Why does it say that one or more of my girls have a friendship level that's too high? It tells me to not use cheats for friendship level but I didn't use any cheat except for the money cheat. Then it tells me to revert my friendship level. How do you do this? Am I stuck permanently?
Did you overwrite any files? I'm not sure how this would occur other than that or cheat codes/console commands.
You may need to revert to a previous save.
Thanks for the new update. Started from the beginning again to see what you've reworked. The only problem I had was the downloading. The file is so large that for those of us who just have the basic MEGA package with its 5 gig max per day, it stops at 4.9 gig and you have to wait for a few hours for it to complete.
Yeah, it's rough. I'll see what my future options are. v0.10.1 includes a compression that lowers the file size to under 5GB for PC/Mac!
Thanks, Runey, you're one of the best! BTW my other favorites are Killer and Braindrop. Too bad that Braindrop doesn't put his game in itch.io. I think he's a little overwhelmed by all the attention he's getting as it is.
This is hands-down one of my favourite of these types of games. Whilst not my favourite - I kinda prefer games where you can actively do things rather than lots of passive clicking - definately in top three :) Looking forward to more.
That said, gotta admit I found the latest update a bit dull. The new Felicity/Emma scenes were awesome, especially since I think it's about time they and Ash spent some time together, and the Jin event was oddly interesting. But beyond that, not a lot seemed to happen in the other events, apart from dropping 4k (which, as a side note, do you actually get charged the debt? I didn't see anything, so either I had more than enough and didn't notice it automatically getting paid, or there's no obvious way to pay it back yet).
[MILD SPOILER ALERT (Sorry, dunno if there's even a way to black this out on here)}
The Lin event continuation was definately long, but it was kinda... idk. Not what I was expecting. Was obvious you'd get found at some point, but the way it played out was just a bit 'bleh' to me. Fight was interesting, but forced concessions to the queen seemed a bit lame. Was kinda expecting some member of the guard who disagreed with her to help you out instead, or maybe Nia to 'give in' only to help you escape.
Don't get me wrong, I adore most of Lin's gameplay so far, and she's defiantely among my favourites, but this particular event was just lacking for me. The end back at hotel was amusing, but didn't do enough to save event for me.

All in all, combined with other girls' lack of new real events, can't say was all that interested in this update. Sorry to sound so critical, but as a writer myself, I kinda think if people don't put out there opinions, good or bad, can't consider said other opinions.
That said, still looking forward to whenever the next update comes :) Great work overall.

I think it comes out today. The patreon lovers tier gets it 12 days early (pre-release 1) and the supporter tier gets it 7 days early (pre-release 2), and both of those were 12 and 7 days before the 25th... that or its all one big coincidence

Great game. "Harem Hotel" (HH) is not just a silly sex game. Well, it is that too Sometimes, but all great games have there , but each person hs a umique personality and a background. Almost all the girls in the game struggle with fear, insecurities, self estee,, hopes and dreams of a better life and / or job and other
It really makes the characters more realistic, although the harem and each girl , the main character with an increasung number of beautiful, sexy and slutty girls. E 8 women to love you andwould be impossie , or close too it. It get that in itself it IS part of the scenen be fun, but it would be nice if there were a little more realism, and focus a but more on the science fiction parts of the game. The game can at times be slightly monotome, but not for too long. So overall I'd give ypir ha,e a big 8 out of 10, maybe even a 9 when everything is completed.
You could do this profeeionally, maybe 5 dollars ? Just a thought, I've not played many 18+ games, but to those his is the best I have seen! "Harem Hotel" is better than a lot of "regular" games. Hi Community just wanted to ask if someone knows how I'm able to get the Level 1 event from Kate(Side Character in Asheleys School).
With Lins Playthrough mod it says Time: Noon
Location: Asheleys School.
But when I go there at Noon nothing happens. I am able to talk to Kate and solve her riddles but her Level event does not seem to trigger.
Even though I got her previous event where she is in the Womans School Bathroom showering before she has practice or whatever.
Then the Walkthrough said to wait 2 days which I did. And simply instructs you with
Time: Noon
Location: Asheleys School
Nothing more. But it also doesn't say story finished.
Does anyone know what I am doing wrong. Because I can only solve her riddles. Or do I need to solve all of them first?

Hello, I need help on progressing Lin's story AND her lust.
Her friendship is at 22. All stats aside from footjob and lustful have been raised to the highest limit (10+ or 20+). She has all traits except for Foot Fetish and Lustful. I am on day 178. I have purchased both Jin and the Sanctuary. I have completed the mainline story (max friendship?) with Kali, Android, and Maria. I am 15+ friendship on Ashley, Emma/Felicity, and Autumn.
Please help me figure out what flag I have not tripped to progress Lin's story. Her lust has been 0/4 stars for 80ish days, with constant messages that Lin's lust is unbearable for at least half of my playthrough. By contrast, Kali is 4/4 Lust and has the Lustful trait.

I guess you should try teasing Lin again in the dungeon to work her lust back up from the bottom. Not letting her finish raises her lust.
I just want to say, a game called "Harem Hotel" has absolutely no right to be this fucking amazing. I absolutely love everything about it, the story, characters, and, of course, the sex. Keep up the amazing work!
