Hello everyone!
If you've been following my posts, you may know that I took my first holiday vacation around New Years. I returned home recently but caught some sort of sickness on my vacation so I've been recovering from that as well. I'm not quite sure what it is, it feels weaker than a cold, with coughing and a runny nose, but with added depression and mental fatigue for no apparent reason. I could do nothing for about a week but lay in bed and rot, even watching a video on youtube or playing a game was too exhausting for me. Could be covid, but I'm getting better so it's no cause for concern. This being creative work, it heavily depends on my state of mind. Sometimes I wish I could just be told what I should do so I could mindlessly work and not have to use 110% of my brainpower, but truthfully I love being creative and building worlds. I wouldn't trade it for anything! So from the bottom of my heart, thank you all so much for being supportive even through the tough times.
Now for news regarding v0.18! I still need to develop and plan the events for Android and Maria, as I decided v0.18 was taking too long to start development so I entered the development phase before the update was fully planned. This should not be an issue as I'm used to improvising but it is some added stress. Android's event is planned to be a threesome with MC and Kali, and I'm open to suggestions on what you would like to see! Since it's a sex event (and will be turned into a repeatable) I'm interested to know what will make you all happy. As for Maria's story event, this is something I'll handle. The farm behind the garden is making progress as well, but much of it had to be redesigned recently. Still hoping to get that in v0.18.
And a question, are you happy with the quality and content of recent updates? If you've played v0.18, I would especially like to hear from you. Recent events have taken much longer to develop due to the added complexity and detail of the latest events, especially now that I'm using a lot of main characters for each event and making new ones all the time. I could decrease the quality to speed things up, but I'm happy with how the game and story is progressing, so I hope you are too.
In other news, I am taking steps to offering 3 - 5 inch 3D printed and hand painted figures of the main characters! I think these figures may be good additions to those who collect. People have asked about merch, but I am not too interested in selling cheap t-shirts and stickers. These figures can theoretically be of any pose and with any outfits, but I'll be starting with Lin in her maid outfit. If this project goes well I can offer more characters and outfits, both lewd and SFW. Is this something you would be interested in? And if so, what do you think is a fair price? I see a lot of figures selling for over $100-$200 but that cost too high in my opinion. Keep in mind that the cost on my end includes a 3D modeler, printer, painter, and shipping costs.

As much as I want more Kate/Moon stuff, you have me absolutely hooked on Lin's story and the new digital antagonist. I can totally picture Android figuring out a way to outsmart her and Cornwall and hopefully take him a peg.

my question is... how far would you say in terms of days or months, will the new update be fully ready. its not a rush thing, i just would like to know when to return, it doesn't have to be exact, but i would love to know if i should check back next week or next month or...
again please don't rush i enjoy this game soooo much, from the content to events, and don't even get me started on the graphics and detailed. its truly a work of art.

Honestly $50 + the costs on your end for a 3D model sounds like a good deal, but you could always add more if the profit isn't enough for you. Hope all your plans come to fruition!

I've loved this game for a long time! Especially grateful for your generosity in keeping this free for us all.
As to suggestions, I miss quite a few of the characters: Kate and Jin, in particular, but also more story interactions/scenes with the elves (Sylvia/Nia) and Felicity/Emma. I feel like we haven't had updates on these characters' stories for quite a long time.
I always want to add more content for everybody, but "what?" is the question.
Since Sylvia has lines about wanting to "boss around" male elves, you could have her be dominant in the love route and submissive in the slave route. I think Sylvia is the hottest character in the game.
Which says a lot cause all the characters are hot, it's a great game! I started playing it 5 days ago and it's waay better than other games of the same kind. I'd support you on patreon, but I'm unfortunately broke •~•

Hey man, good to see you're still up and about. Ive been following the game for a while, and reading your dev logs too. You've been through a rough time, and I'm glad you can still find it in you to continue the game.
regarding Kali and Android... an idea would be to have Kali use a VR headset and Android hacks it and turns it into a sexual game that Kali can't turn off, while MC is made aware and jumps in.
I'm curious to see where the story is going to. I like the extra attention given to the "minor" characters too. Curious though, will there be more H scenes with Lin's sister? Because the moment you buy her and have her kick the habit, she doesn't really do much else.

To establish a fair price for the figures I would say something like Cost of Production + 20% or somewhere in that ballpark would be a reasonable markup imo

Just finished my first playthrough. I loved the game, I loved the characters - I do not like the main story. It's gotten a little to big and out of hand for a game about a harem in a hotel. I think, if I do another playthrough, I won't build the sanctuary, and will just ignore Autumn, which will make the game somewhat limited but ... also kinda better. I mean after the last bit with the protest when MC didn't follow Lin .. I don't even know if I like him anymore.
This isn't a porn game, it's an adult visual novel. That is, an adult story. The Sanctuary and Autumn are required to advance the story.
MC couldn't go to the protest because he wasn't aware Lin was doing that. Once he realized this, and that she was in danger, he got her out.
No. He sat and watched it all unfold on TV - I would have been out the door the second I knew she was gone and would have told everyone at the hotel to call me if they heard anything. (I have actually -personally, literally - followed friends into danger, even when I thought it was a bad idea because I wouldn't let them stand alone.) The game is great until the sanctuary then everything goes down hill fast and at this point there is no way that any of them survive, at least no way that isn't completely unrealistic.
Sure, there's being dumb and rushing into danger even though it's a bad idea like you said, then there's being smart and waiting for the right time, as MC did. I understand it's not something you would have personally done, but what MC did actually saved Lin and no one got caught.
If you don't have faith in my writing, that's fine. You can stop and not know what happens, or continue and find out what happens.
Yeah ... as someone who reads 150-200 novels / year ... I have no faith in your writing. If they had simply run a kind of underground railroad out of the sanctuary, that would have been great - plenty of opportunities to tell stories and keep up a great game. As it is you have about a dozen people, in an old hotel - who have essentially no defenses, no protection and no experience with politics, the military or even crime taking on the police, the political order and the religious order. The only thing that makes sense in the story at this point is for all of them to die in a hail of bullets or get hauled off to a secret prison in the next update. You had a really good thing, and threw it in the trash by trying to turn it into some epic sci-fi/fantasy thing. It's very sad.

Yeah I very much doubt that, very condescending of you to feel as though reading that much novels give you better narrative and storytelling skills. I'm curious on how the protagonist would enforce an "underground railroad" system if implemented, the lack of resources is one factor. Also where would the enslaved elves run to? Pretty sure the entirety of Syl'anar is dominated by pro-slave humans. I very much doubt Syl'iath (who don't want to risk revealing themselves) nor the Resistance (who are already small currently) can manage enforcing a "underground railroad".

Alright to refute some things off on what you stated.
- Why would they be arrested nor shot by the government? From what I understand, the government have no evidence of any illegal business the protagonist has been secretly doing so far. The protagonist is seen in a positive light by Cornwall (so far) who is the Minister for the Elves. Also adding to the fact that the protagonist have girls (Kali, Felicity, and Emma) who's father are in high position which deflect any suspicion.
- Also, no defense? Android with an semi automatic rifle, Nia who knows how to fight, and invisible fairies that know lethal spells. But no defenses, right?
- Autumn is very much involved and informative on the religious organization and Kali has some semblance of political understanding, the protagonist gets information on these topics from various characters so I don't understand how you can interpret that the protagonist lack any critical information.
- The Resistance and the wild elven tribes are currently allies (thanks to Lin and Nia) albeit rocky at best so it not like the protagonist lack any sort of military power. There is also the possibly Syl'iath in the future can be convinced to take side with the protagonist.
- Runey is absolutely right, what would the protagonist have done by running out to assist Lin in the protest? Endangering the other girls and the hotel? Even if the outcome is Lin becoming a criminal at least she made an huge impact.
I'm curious, did you even pay attention to what was happening in the story? Like the issues you stated were already addressed or could be pieced together.
Hey Runey, would there be more kissing xxx scenes? Is there a way to interact with jin after making her stop taking the drugs? Would there be more things to do in town instead of only just bar and brothel? Are all the side characters getting additional content or just main? Can't wait for future updates, I am patient for quality so no pressure if you have some creative blocks. Appreciate the great game.
