Hello everyone!
It's the holiday season again! Personally I can't wait for it to start snowing in my area. Unfortunately the weather has been killing me for the last month. Back-to-back sickness with a terrible cold leading into a stomach flu... I can't even remember the last time I was sick, since it's so rare. I've been bedridden and toilet-ridden for the past 3+ weeks, but I'm making progress when I can with v0.19.
Most of the main character story events are done and just need some final adjustments. We're getting some big progress with how Autumn sees the world and her church, which is a big step towards more fun time in the bed ;) Ashley and F&E's stories will be connected again, this one should be big and will involve trying to find Felicity and Ren. Maybe one of them even be found. I don't want to spoil much, but Lin's story should also be super fun. This and Autumn's are building to be my personal favorites of v0.19 so far. Pixel is also making a lot of progress in Cyberspace, which is setting up for something big.
But here's where I'm looking for your feedback... where should I focus secondary content? I've received some great suggestions for trait expansions, such as adding new Interactions to each character. Buttslut could unlock wearing a buttplug while standing in their room. Nympho could unlock vibrators, Submissive could unlock room spankings, and Paizuri star could unlock nipple piercings. (Keep in mind all of these would only be shown in their room, and maybe with some future unlockable outfits.) But I could also put my focus towards Side Character stories, or more Explore content. What do you think? I'm always eager to hear your suggestions and feedback, so please share what you think v0.19 should include!
Oh, and how was the garden farm content? Did you guys try it out yet? With the additional of +Lust and +EXP crops, it should address issues of people feeling like these two things are too time consuming to build. So I'm very curious if the game feels better with these, along with a new source of income.
I'd also like to remind everyone that Custom Art is available again! There was a period of time where none could be made, but it's fully back now. $10+ Patrons have the ability to request Custom Art of any character, in any position or clothes (or nude). There's also some news about HH figurines. As you may know, Lin Figurines have been available for some time now. All the feedback I've received has been amazing, but this time I have a specific question. Would you be more or less interested in a fully nude figurine? Or maybe lingerie? Production of Kali figurines will begin soon, so I'm wondering what you guys will be most interested in.

final comment. I think i will wait to play any more of this game until a lot more of the story is complete. So yea, you managed to get me hooked inot the more serious side of the story, as angry as it makes me.
I will be looking forward to when tis game is much more complete so i can see much more of the story. I wanna see all the serious parts to the end.
ANd now its Ashley tghrowing a fit asking why the bad people keep tearing her lif eapart. Because thats how the world works. Evil people have always had asll the power and always will. People like Ashley are not allowed to be happy. They are trash and there is nothing anyone can do about it. Just like in real life.
Its really really depressing being reminded of how utterly powerless eveyrone really is against people in power. So if tats what yer trying to do Runey, you succeed on that front.
I understand where you’re coming from, sometimes you don’t want to be reminded of these things especially if you’ve lived through them.
Any good story requires worldbuilding. For the context of this story to progress in the way I have in mind, it’s important to show how people are helpless to do anything. Otherwise the world they exist in would be easy to replace. But that chapter of the story is now in the game’s past. Now you start to see the main characters gain power, influence, and start fighting back. The world itself is supposed to be disliked, then changed.
Ya know, i keep playing this and ive gotten pretty far into it but the amount of bad shjit that happens and how powerless everyone is just kind of ruins it. Its getting really tiresome seeing th ebad guys always get their way to some degree.
We have enough of that ion real life where bad people rule everything already and always will since no one has the balls to fihgt back. The entire cast in this is always so completely helpless, unable to do anything to fight back in any way. They may as well jsut give up since they have no hope of ever changing anyhting. Thgose in power will always be in power.
The world you created? I cnat say i feel much towards it but i do hate almost eveyrone who isnt part of the hotel. All stupid, all horrible people, all enemies. Too much like real life.
Could generally use some quality of life upgrades when it comes to navigating the hotel and the world. Getting around sometimes feels a bit clunky, takes too many clicks.
Would love a way to check on the garden status from the Info page, and maybe navigate directly there if it needs tending. Also, a hint about what to do to trigger the next scene in a girl's story when the exclamation appears on the Info Menu.
Some more repeatable content with side characters just out and about in the world would be nice, too. Give us a reason to visit Papa Rons, the colleges, etc. once you've progressed through all the story scenes.

I'd love to see more Kate, Nia and Vanessa content. It would also be great to have more Hot Springs moments in general. There is so much potential for funny scenes where nudity is more of a bonus or actual spicy scenes with one or more characters.

Honestly the sex focus is kind of boring at this point. I sugets focusing more on the actual story that doesnt involve sex all the time. It gets kind of boring otherwise. Assuming there actually is anyhting going on in htis world beyond endless fucking.
Having played through the entire available game, without skipping a single moment, I kindly disagree with your thoughts.
The sex is actually pretty great in this as it relies heavily on fantasy and forbidden fruits that is delivered quite nicely in the narrative. It leaves a lot up to the player to get themselves absorbed into the narrative and really lose themself in the moment, scene to scene.
Furthermore, it is called "Harem" Hotel for a reason, y'know? Sex is kind of a focal point.
Well aware of it but i honestly skip most of it. The only times i get into the moment is the serious story parts. SOmetimes the funny bits. ALl the bits that have nothing to do with sex. Id be happy with the option to have all the ladies nude and nothing else. Im a very simple man.
Id rather far more focus be put on the actual important story bits at this point. The fun stuff can come after all the bullshit they are up against has been dealt with, assuming this story doesnt just end with te bad guys winning like they do in real life all the time.
AT this point i have everyone up to level 30 or higher, and just now am at the bit with Felicity and Emma's retarded asshole father doing his asshole bit. So many horrible people coming at the hotel from eveyrwhere and every single membr of the cast is basically helpless against it all. By asshole bit, i mean the part with felicity leaving with some white haired woman who, as always, is a complete utter worthles sbitch like all the rich cunts who arent at the hotel.
Hi, Runey i have a few ideas on feedback for your next update. 1. is you should make a revamped version of the vr games you had previously. 2. update the ui and add more options for the mc's pc including the shop 3. add more interactions for the bar and Ellen. 4. add more to the surrounding world like the beach, slums, bowling alley, church etc. 5.add more interactions for the elves living in the hotel along with replayable sex scenes with Nia and possibly Vanessa(i know she's not an elf but i didn't want to make a separate section for this) regardless i like the story and i can't wait to see what you cook up maybe more autumn content pls... anyway in all seriousness i hope you get better this year has been rough for alot of folks we've lost alot of people whether it's celebs or friends and family stay safe and healthy and happy new year as it's right at the corner i'll be looking forward to future updates.

I'd be interested in more side-character content. Especially Kate and Vanessa. Those two are awesome. Perhaps a threesome with Vanessa and Maria? Since they both swing both ways ;)
It would also be nice if you added some side content with Nala and Zara. Those girls of color deserve some love ;)

As far as secondary content, my vote would be for more interactions with the side girls in the house. Like perhaps a nice scene of various side girls doing laundry since that room is rarely used. Give it more of a purpose to visit it.
Also, getting drunk and passed out always confused me. Perhaps you could have the MC accidentally stumble into one of the other rooms or have Maria or Moon take advantage of the situation.
Adding more outfits for purpose or maybe utilizing some of the other areas for cams could be a good quick add-on for secondary content. I always enjoyed building up money to buy the new things to test them out.
I did do some of the gardening, but perhaps it could be explained a little better since I lost track of what I was doing there. Maybe I am the only one?
I always look forward to what you add next and always find enjoyment in how you write the character development. Don't doubt your creativity, and find your muse to push through.

Just an idea for extra content (of which I'm sure there are loads, so see what everyone else thinks) how about adding a chastity belt which would increase lust, that could be used in conjunction with a butt plug or two when unlocked to further tease the wearer?

Are there plans for F&E lust content? I don't know if they were mentioned in any previous devlogs, but I've been personally waiting for them a long time! Felicity is one of my faves!

But honestly, the story is so good! I'd even play it without the porn. Maybe you could make a SFW version in the distant future.
I do not understand the love for the dominance thing. And i am forced to agree about the story. Remove the porn and yes there is actually a decent story in there indeed. But its way too much like real life, where the bad guys are alwasy in power and always win.

But one thing I'd love to do is get more pinups from characters who you barely interact with. Like for characters who have no main or side role, you can use Pixel to hack their phones and steal their nudes like at the university.
I definitely want to see Zara as a secondary or main character. She's got potential.
Also I'd love to see Ellen moved up into the main roster. But I know that's unrealistic.

You could have the other side girls (like Ann, Ellen, Lucia, etc.) have a "Let's go on a date" option. Slot machine in the bar. It would fall into the sometimes it's profit, other times it's loss, but adding multiple machines will be more profit than loss, just like bare minimum bar purchases is more loss and fully upgrading the bar is more profit. Also, more outfits like Autumn's outfit on the pilgrimage to choose her Paragon, Lin's in public/vacation outfit, Ashley's nurse outfit, Kali's dress, Maria's casual outfit (to just wear) and red dress, Emma's dress or blue hoodie outfit, Felicity's dress or black shirt plaid skirt.
For secondary content, I'd love to have more with the sanctuary. Maybe a system where you can secretly funnel your money into various projects for the cause? And just anything that expands on content in Caliber City itself and makes the city feel more alive and less like a place you visit occasionally because you have some event quest.

Side content requests? Honestly, I think I want a wholesome scene between Kali and Lucia. So far when the sisters have interacted in the hotel there is a level of animosity. But after Lucia's boat event, I could fully see an event where MC and Kali are just watching TV or a movie or something and Lucia *doesnt* try to butt in or make it about her. A calmer Lucia, which doesn't put Kali on the defensive, and maybe we get a sister on each arm to watch the movie or whatever.
